LIST OF DOCUMENTS / INFORMATION REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED

FOR CCOE APPROVAL UNDER PETROLEUM ACT

For Preliminary Approval

1. Details of all facilities with process write up.

2. Unit plot plans / equipment layout, plan & elevation drawing clearly indicating
the premises proposed to be licensed, made in line with the guidelines as specified
in Petroleum rules.

3. Layout of surrounding facilities & all protected works lying within 100 mtr. of the
edge of all facilities which are proposed to be licensed.

4. Technical detail of all storage tanks including position, capacity, MOC elevation
& plan view.(Data sheets)

5. Piping plan for proposed area showing all valves, filling & discharge points, vent
pipes, dip pipes, storage & filling sheds, pumps, fire fighting facilities etc.

For Final Approval

1. Details of facilities & process write up.

2. Final as built Unit plot plans / equipment layout, plan & elevation drawing drawings
clearly indicating the premises proposed to be licensed

3. As built Layout of surrounding facilities & all protected works lying within 100 mtr.
of the edge of all facilities which are proposed to be licensed.

4. Technical details of all storage tanks including position, capacity, MOC, elevation &
plan view. (A table in a layout drawing)

5. Piping plan for proposed area showing all valves, filling & discharge points, vent
pipes, dip pipes, storage & filling sheds, pumps, fire fighting facilities etc.

6. Storage tank design details & general arrangement drawing

7. Hydro-testing reports of storage tanks certified by a competent person. (approved by


CCOE).

8. Certificate of safety by a competent person. (approved by CCOE).

9. No objection certificate from the district authority the premises proposed to be


licensed.
10. Hazardous area classification for any electrical installation in proposed licensed
premises.

For Final Approval of Electrical installation installed in the licensed premises.

1. Comprehensive report accompanied by all necessary drawings, calculations giving


reference to recognised code or codes followed, full details of design & construction
& necessary test certificates from the recognised bodies in respect of the apparatus &
its components. (Applicable for any type of electrical apparatus used in hazardous
area like MCC, substation etc.)

2. Certificate of electrical installation from any competent person.

Note : The document shall be submitted to CCOE in duplicate at the time of


preliminary approval & quadruplicate at the time of final approval.
