Planning Process

Planning (also called forethought) is the process of thinking about and

organizing the activities required to achieve a desired goal. It involves the
creation and maintenance of a plan, such as psychological aspects that
require conceptual skills. There are even a couple of tests to measure
someones capability of planning well. As such, planning is a fundamental
property of intelligent behavior.

Also, planning has a specific process and is necessary for multiple

occupations (particularly in fields such as management, business, etc.). In
each field there are different types of plans that help companies achieve
efficiency and effectiveness. An important, albeit often ignored aspect of
planning, is the relationship it holds to forecasting. Forecasting can be
described as predicting what the future will look like, whereas planning
predicts what the future should look like for multiple scenarios. Planning
combines forecasting with preparation of scenarios and how to react to
them. Planning is one of the most important project management and time
management techniques. Planning is preparing a sequence of action steps
to achieve some specific goal. If a person does it effectively, he can reduce
much the necessary time and effort of achieving the goal. A plan is like a
map. When following a plan, he can always see how much he has
progressed towards his project goal and how far he is from his destination.

09177943484. Guide fee is Php 500 for up to a group of 5pax. Jeep rental
is Php 1500-2000. This is ideal for groups.

For independent travelers, from San Juan, La Union, ride a jeep north and
tell the driver to drop you off San Gabriel. Hire a tricycle to take you to
Tangadan Falls jump-off, fare is Php 50. Guide fee is still Php 500.

Limited Resources

Make your way to San Juan, La Union. Buses to Laoag and Vigan usually
passes by San Juan.

From San Juan La Union, ride a jeepney going to San Gabriel.

From San Gabriel, you may ride a tricycle going the the Tangadan Falls
jump-off. Just ask the tricycle driver to drop you off there.

There are now two jump-offs to Tangadan Falls. If youre commuting,

once you reach San Gabriel, tricycle drivers will bring you to the
jump-off which requires you to river trek (Baroro River) for around an
hour. If you have your own car, theres a possible jump-off beyond the
 town of San Gabriel which will only require you a 20-minute hike
down to the falls.
Cultural Value
People and cultureNinety-three percent of the population is Ilocano
and isoverwhelmingly Roman Catholic. There are communitiesof
Pangasinense in the south, Igorots in the Cordillera foothills,and
Chinese in the city.

Local Benefits
Tangadan falls is a tourist destination is starting to contribute to the
economy of LGU. Local transportation are seeing this benefit, as
jeepneys are hired for around 1000 per trip and tricycles for about
200.00. Local tour guides and porters are now also earning due to
the influx of visitors to the town.
More tourism projects are being planned out by the local government
to harness this tourism boom. Improvement to roads and building of
accommodation establishments are on the way to further improve
tourism services and this attract more visitors to the town

Man drowns in Tangadan Falls in La Union

SAN GABRIEL, La Union The body of a man who went missing on

Wednesday was recovered at Tangadan Falls yesterday, casting a shadow
on the popular tourist spot.

According to rescuers from the Provincial and Municipal Disaster Risk

Reduction Management Council (PMDRRMC), Municipal Police, and
Bureau of Fire Protection, Jimmy Rilloraza jumped into the water while
visiting the falls with his relatives earlier this week. His nephew tried to save
him when he had trouble swimming, but to no avail.
