QUESTION
Please confirm it is allowed for us to insert to the Airline Operations Manual some conclusions from the
Operational Liaison Visit to Aurora (SHU) Report STL- RP1632117 dated February 9-11, 2016 concerning
Fuel temperature ECAM advisory/alert:
Airbus recommendations are:
- For every flight (particularly in winter conditions): flight crew has to determine the fuel freezing point
depending on the type/quantity of fuel on board. (Refer to FCOM-LIM-28-Fuel Mixability)
- As long as the fuel temperature in the inner tank is above -43C for JET A1 / -45C for TS-1: No action. If
the temperature threshold is reached: Apply FCOM procedure.
- As long as the fuel temperature in the outer tank is above -47C for JET A1/ -49C for TS-1: No action. If
the temperature threshold is reached: Apply FCOM procedure.
If so, we also would like to use that report as basis for improving our company' SOP.

Airbus has no objection to your proposal to use recommendations in SHU operational documentation:
