Green Arrow: Darkness Rising

(story/script)
Story where Green Arrow tries to unfold the mystery of a group named Darkness,
that tries to summon the evil, dark spirits of Darkness itself to this world. But can
he do this now, when his partner - Arsenal, left him and his love, the Black
Canary, asked him for a break in their relationship?
Get into an action-packed story full of mystery, betrayal, Olivers self-reflection,
scenes from the past, trick arrows, great fights and magic.

Then:
Green Arrow (recurve bow with reflex arms, goatee) and Speedy (Roy, compound)
in action.
They are taking on a quiet impresively armed gang.
About 2 years ago
Speedy makes a risky move, doing a flip over one guy and taking him and one
other gangster down. But he almost gets shot by another, if it werent for Oliver
s eagle eyes.
Less flips, more attention Speedy! says GA with a very non-serious tone and
a smile on his face.
Speedy smirks at him, then quickly turns and shoots a gangster in the shoulder.
The gangster screams and drops his weapon.
Speady with a smirk and playful tone: We always have each others back.
To black.
Then:
Oliver (goatee, medium long hair), in slightly different suit, with hood and mask
down is sitting next to Roy. He has different suit as well. Oliver looks sad and
shocked, Roy worried.
About two months ago
Roy: I know that Dinah just went on a break from heros life, but please,
understand that I need this. I WANT this.
Oliver: I understand... the Titans are more of your cup of tea... He says it with
disaproval.
Roy is still worried. You can manage, as those three, or four years before me... or
Dinah. He doesnt sound so sure.
To black.
Now:
Green Arrow action. He is in a warehouse, taking down gangsters (most of them

have shaved heads) with ease and hiding behind boxes of weapons.
His quiver is now half empty, but we can also see that there are 8 gangsters
injured (arrows in shoulders/arms/legs) and knocked out on the ground.
There are some exploded boxes and guns. Quick flashback of GA shooting some
explosive arrows into them.
Green Arrow shoots another explosive arrow and then hides behind lot of boxes
and presses something on his suit, near the hood. Then says: Watch tower, how
does it look?
After he says that, white lenses come down on his eyes. We see thermal vision of
the whole building.
Computer voice (Watch tower, WT): There are eight men still active sir. Two of
them injured.
GA (challenging, playful): Thanks Watch tower, now how can we reduce that
number if I dont want to kill anyone?
WT: You can shoot an explosive arrow to the ground, near their feet.
GA (upset, but not very serious): Well good for me, but I dont have any left.
Then he quickly reaches into the quiver and pulls out 3 arrows. Now, there are
only 5 left.
He prepares the arrows to shoot.
GA: Old school way then. I never liked show offs. as he says it, he smirks as if
he himself doesnt believe that. Then he steps out of hiding.
Hey buzzheads! he screams and when the gangsters go for him, he shoots 3 of
them in shoulders.
They scream and lose their balance, which delays the other five giving GA
a window tu make his move.
He quickly shoots 3 other arrows as he is running and jumping over nearby
boxes.
He gets to the group and starts fighting with them.
He takes down 4 of them with his martial arts skills and then jumps over group of
boxes to hide from the shooting that the other 4 started.
He has only 2 arrows left now and he knows he has to make them count.
GA smirks, prepares the arrows as quickly as possible and then gets up, jumps
around the boxes and shoots those arrow to the 2 already injured guys.
They fall down with scream and GA throws his bow to 3rd guys neck, which sets
him off balance and makes him gasp for breath.
Then GA gets to the 4th guy and quickly takes him down with almost an
acrobatic-like move.
Then he grabs the 3rd guy and smashes him into wall of boxes, setting them off
balance.
GA agressively (with voice changer, w/VC): Do you work for Gomez Corola? And
dont lie!
Man is scared, so he stutters: Y-yes. P-Please, d-dont hurt m-me! GA smiles and
hits him in the head, knocking him out.
Then he takes his bow and quickly leaves the place by jumping and climbing on
the boxes, getting through a broken rooftop window on the roof.

In Watch tower - tower of an abandoned church, that now serves as GAs arrow
cave.
Secured and reinforcedwalls, doors and windows in the whole church and lot of
special equipment in the tower, including computers, screens, arrows (both
finished and still in the making), three other
bows (another recurve with reflex arms - as the one he caries now, a long bow
and a compound), couple of hoods and armor pieces for his costumes and some
other tech and stuff. There is a bit of a mess.
Oliver is now filling his quiver and taking of his costume.
After he is done, he gets to a computer.
He starts researching Gomez Corola.
Now where can I hit you, so it would hurt? asks Oliver while looking through
some files.
Oliver: Watch tower, try to find another ilegal business Corola is involved in. After
drugs, security and weapons, I wonder where else he has his hands.
Sure thing sir. says WT and then something appears on screen.
Oliver: Corola was seen with Greg Bernard, interesting. Where does he live?
Time for chat.
WT: Greg Bernard currently stays in Grells Hotel sir.
Oliver looks at a file and says more to himself: After his wife divorced him two
weeks ago... when he faced a trial for murder.
WT: Mr. Bernard was accused of murder of 19 years old Jenny Adams from three
weeks ago, but was freed because of lack of evidence.
Oliver starts reading the file: And because her murder was associated with The
New Ripper murders... strange. Could he be the killer? Who wanted to get back
to killing, made a mistake and then had someone cover it up... I definitely need to
talk to him.
Oliver then gets up and starts suiting up.
Oliver: Watch tower, make sure that the hotels alarm systems and in-room
phones are dead.
WT: Yes sir.

Oliver gets all his gear and then slides on a rope near the towers stairs.
Down there is a motorcycle - armoured, armed and green/black colored.
Oliver gets on the motorcycle (arrowbike, a.b.) and says: Open the main gate.
Then he goeas through the church to the main door-gate as it opens and then
leaves to the streets.
Door-gate closes after he leaves.

Grells Hotel, Bernards room.
Bernard is on a phone.
Bernard (not satisfied): Green Arrow ruined your weapon deal, so what?
Corola: It wasnt just a weapon deal, he tipped the cops and they raided the
warehouse! Weapons
and money lost! Lot of them!
Bernard: Again, so what? This never was about that.
GA gets to the hotels garages.
GA: Watch tower, are you in?
WT: Yes sir.
GA: Open the gate to garages and shut the alarms and phones off.
WT: Done. and then the gate starts opening.
GA then goes inside.
GA: What room is Bernard staying in?
WT: 409 sir.
GA: Thanks.
GA gets off the arrowbike and prepares a rope arrow.
He goes to the stairs and shoots the arrow to the fifth floors staircase. Then he
starts rewinding the rope back to the bottom part of the quiver. The rope goes
from there through a rewinding device on his belt.
He gets up and separates the rope from the arrow through screwing mechanism.
Then he puts the rewinding mechanism back on its place at the bottom of the
quiver.
GA enters the hallway with a regular arrow prepared to shoot. Since it is later at
night, the hallway lights are off.
He slowly goes through the hallway and gets to the door to room 409.
GA then grabs the arrow in his left hand (the one that holds the bow) so it wont
fall off and then he pulls out a green and silver card. He swipes the gard into
a card slot on the doors lock and small led light turns green.
GA smirks and puts the card back to his belt pocket. Then prepares the bow and
arrow and slowly opens the door with his elbow.
He enters the room and sees a light at the end of the entrance corridor.
He goes there and sees Bernard. Then aims arrow at him and enters the
bedroom.
Bernard is shocked when he sees him.
GA (w/VC): Are you The New ripper?
Bernard seems even more shocked as he gasps for breath. He did not expect
THAT question.
GA (w/VC): Answer the question.
Bernard moves his head down as a sign of agreement.
GA (w/VC), surprised: That was easy... And then Bernard moves his left arm
pointing out of the room and GA is thrown into that direction.
Bernard (happy in evil way), as GA is getting up: You have no idea what you got
into.
GA gets up and throws something on the ground. It explodes and immidiately
creates a lot of smoke.
Then an arrow flies through it and hits Bernard in his left arm. He screams and GA
gets close to him, hits him in the head with his bow and then kicks him down on
the ground.
Bernard looks up and he sees GA aiming an arrow on his chest.
GA (w/VC): You know what happens when I let the arrow go, so TALK.
Barnard exhales and says: You wouldnt kill me.
GA grins and says (w/VC): I dont need to.
Bernard has some bits of fear in his eyes, gasps and starts talking: Me and
Corola are working on a cover for our OTHER activites.
GA (w/VC): But you couldnt resist the urge to kill. What activities?
Bernard nods and continuous and it becomes a voice-over for scenes he is talking
about: Four months ago, when I stopped what I was doing cause police were
really close to me, a man approached me. He said that he can help me with
staying off their radar. He told me that he represents Darkness and that they
would like me to join them. After he showed me what he can do it was
a nobrainer. And here we are now...
GA seems to be thinking about what he just heard. Then he asks (w/VC): What is
Darkness? Do you know the man? Who are the others?
Bernard: Mikalo Carter is the man who approached me, their leader. With that
name we see shock and painful realization in GAs eyes.
GA (w/VC): Thanks. and then knocks him unconsious by hitting him in the head
with his knee.
GA then restrains him and leaves.
GA on a way to arrowbike: Watch tower, did you record our conversation? Send
the part where he confessed to SCPD and give them about his location.
WT: What about you sir?
GA as he gets on the arrowbike (upset): Im gonna see an old friend of Oliver
Queen. Then he leaves the hotel garages.
Seven years ago
Oliver (younger, without the goatee, short hair - similar to CW Arrows Oliver in
season 1; and in a business suit) enters a huge office with glass walls. It is
a sunny day outside.
Similarly young man greets him with open arms and a smile.
Mikalo: Oliver Queen! Welcome!
Oliver smiles and says: Please dont hug me Mikalo, were not there yet. They
both laugh.
Mikalo: Im glad we can finally meet for a serious business talk.
Oliver: Me too. Finally we can work together. What was it? Three months of
persuading your father
that the idea is a gold mine?
Mikalo smirks and says: Yeah, something like that. He didnt want to believe that
Queen consolidated is in energy research business as well. then he winks at
Oliver, he smiles.
Oliver: Yeah, I was quiet impressed when I found out about that old facility. Too
much under the radar.
Mikalo: Even from assisting CEO, but not just an old facilty ,but some old
scientists as well.
Oliver chuckles: Wise, not old. As my father would say... So, lets talk business!
Then they both sit behind Mikalos desk (sitting on oposite sides).
Now:
GA is on his arrowbike, going through the streets.
Then he hears Dinahs voice: I want to take a break.
We see flashbacks from that conversation in Olivers mind.
Oliver: A break? From what?
Dinah: Being a hero. Im tired, burnt out. Im gonna live with my sister
Sara for the time being.
Oliver (surprised, sad): Thats in Seattle. Does it means its an end for
us?
Dinah: Its a break. I promise, I will come back one day. And Ill be
visiting.
GA (back in present) gets to a tall apartment building. All the lights are off.
He prepares the rope, mounts it on another arrow and shoots it high in the
building (around 23rd floor area on a 30 floors building).
He then starts to rewind and go up.
He gets to the 21st floor area and he drops on a balcony. hen he goes to a second
balcony, next to the one he dropped on.
As he comes to balcony door, somehing pulls him inside with a force that breaks
the door. His hood comes down and he drops his bow.
GA flies through the room right into the hand of Mikalo. He is surprised to see GA.
Mikalo: Oliver?
GA: Long time no see.
Mikalo: What are you doing here? he asks as he is holding him by neck.
GA: I found Bernard and he told me about you. About Darkness... As he says
that, Mikalo throws him to the nearest wall. GA falls on the ground.
Mikalo (disappointed, disaproving): You have no idea what you got yourself
into..
GA: Thats what he said. then he gets up. What is going on with you?
Mikalo: Nothing you should care about, so go.
GA is surprised by Mikalos behavior. No. he says and continuous: Not until
you explain all of this to me.
Mikalo chuckles. Make me.
GA throws the smoke bomb on the ground, to gain advantage.
But Mikalos eys turn dark red and his skin pale and he sees through the smoke
just when GA tries to
attack him. He dodges the attack and punches GA to the stomach.
GA bows from the pain and Mikalo kicks him in his thigh. GA drops on the ground.
Mikalo: Leave, while you sill have a chance.
GA looks at him. You look awful, what have you done to yourself? he says it with
insulting and not serious tone. Smirk on his face.
Mikalo: I embraced the power of Darkness. You cant stop me. Or us.
GA as he gets up: I stopped Bernard. and then does a flip kick, aimed to hit
Mikalo to the head.
But he dodges it, grabs his leg and throws him out of the room, on the balcony.
GA gets up. He is beaten up from all the throwing. He gasps as Mikalo goes to
him.
Since he is on the balcony, he picks up his bow and quickfires four arrows. Only
one hits Mikalo, since he deflects the others with his magic.
But Mikalo doesnt seem to be bothered by the fact that he has an arrow piercing
through hes shoulder. He even pulls the arrow out.
Then he throws GA from the balcony with magic (telekinesis).
As GA is falling, he pulls out an arrow, quickly mounts it on the rope and shoots it
to the building.
When he stops falling, the mount breaks and he ends up hitting the wall and
falling on the ground.
He picks himself up, gasping, beaten.
He puts his hood on and gets on the arrowbike. Then he goes away.

Morning, Oliver is sitting on his bed in his bedroom in the mansion.
He puts his head in his hands and exhales deeply.
Flashback image of Mikalo, how he looked.
What a night... thinks Oliver.
His phone starts ringing, so he gets up and goes to desk in his bedroom where his
phone is.
He pick it up and answers the call.
Oliver Queen here. he says.
You didnt look on callers name, did you? says Dinah.
Oh, hi, no I didnt. stutters Oliver.
Long night out? asks Dinah.
Yeah, you wouldnt believe... well YOU would. says Oliver.
Dinah chuckles. I hope you didnt forget that I will be in town at 6.
Oliver remembers just then. Well...
Oliver! says Dinah, not really angry.
Oliver: Busy days and nights, what can I tell. How long are you staying?
Dinah: Till Sunday, so you have four days t make time for me!
Oliver: Three days, sorry, I cant tonight. Unless you wanna join me.
Dinah: Oliver...
Oliver: Its O.K., really. Dont worry about me.
Dinah: Sure, just call when you have time. Do it.
Oliver chuckles. Yes, my lady.
Dinah: Great, see you then, bye.
Oliver: Bye.
When she hangs up, Oliver whispers to the phone: I love you... He even tears
up a little.

Later that day, Oliver is at work, currently talking to the bard of Queen
Consolidated.
Oliver: As you know, in recent years there have been some weird and often
unexplanable things going on. Dangerous things. Our research facility, the Robert
Queen Lab, has been working on many thing and recently, they developed
a special kind of security system. System, that reinforces not only door and
windows, but walls as well. System, that can protect people from threats of this
world.
He then takes a break to let everyone think about it.
Then one of the board members speaks: Recently, I see here in the files that
theyve been developing it for years now. Nice speech though.
Oliver looks at him and says: Yes, but only recently they made it work for cheap
price.
Another board member: Why would we want that?
Oliver: To give the ability to be safe to everyone. That is the goal. Everyone
deserves a chance to be safe.
Board members think for a while.
Let us think about it Mr. Queen. says the first one.
Well, good, but dont take too long. says Oliver and smiles.
We need to consider every aspect of this, it may take time. We wil inform you,
once we come up
with a conclusion. says the other board member.
Oliver moves his head down as a sign of agreement and then stays in the room
even after they all leave.
_
It is getting dark.
Oliver is suiting up in the Watch tower.
Then he fills his quiver with boxing-glove, paralyzing and explosive arrows (each
type looks different) plus some regular ones.
After that, he slides on the rope down.

Gomez Corolas house. It is a smaller mansion.
8 armed guards outside of the house, walking and watching, keeping their eyes
peeled.
GA appears on top of a brick fence and silently jumps behind bushes and in
between trees. He crouches, so he wont be seen by nearby guard.
He then prepares a paralyzing arrow and aims it at this guard.
When the guard comes closer to him and more away from other two, he shoots
him in the shoulder.
The arrow sends an electric pulse that paralyzes guards arms and legs, so he
falls on the ground.
It was not a completely silent fall, so the two nearby guards go check it out.
GA prepares two other paralyzing arrows and when they get in sight, he shoots
them both.
One of them is able to scream Arrow!, although it was not perfectly clear, since
the paralysis was already kicking in. But still enough to alert the others.
They go there from both sides.
GA runs towards one group (of 3 guards) and as he sees them, he quickly shoos 3
boxing-glove arrows at them, while running and hiding behind some trees. The
arrows hit them in the head really hard, throwing them on the ground and
knocking them unconscious.
But the last two were able to make it to that are by then and so they start
shooting at GA.
He takes some hits into back, as he is jumping into small lake-like natural pool.
He has costume from kevlar and reinforced with some armor pieces, so it does
not really hurt him.
The pool is not as deep as he is tall, so he quickly needs to shoot arrows at the
guards. He hits them in legs and arms with regular arrows, so they are finished
for the evening. Then he gets out of the pool and goes into the house.
Corola is waiting for him and when he sees him, he throws the arrow (regular) he
has prepared into his hand.
GA gasps and exhales from pain, but quickly pulls the arrow out, puts it in quiver
and then very quickly shoot an explosive arrow at Corola.
He is surprised at first from how GA handled the injury and therefore he isnt able
to stop the arrow untill it is really close to him. Then the arrow explodes and
Coroa is thrown away.
GA prepares paralysing arrow and shoots him in the upper-left back area as he is
getting up.
Corola is struggling, trying to still get up and overcome the paralysis with his
magic power.
GA watches that and prepares another paralyzing arrow. But he doesnt get the
chance to shoot him. Corola (by using every bit of his body and magic) throws
him into a bookcase. GA falls on the ground and the bookcase falls on him.
Corola then gets on the ground and exhales from relief, as he is no longer trying
to overcome his paralyzed body.
To black.
GA wakes up. He is tied up on a chair in the same room he was fighting Corola.
Corola himself stands in front of him.
Corola: Oliver Queen. What a surprise, no wonder Mikalo let me find out myself.
GA looks around, no guards, his bow nearby. What now? he asks.
Corola laughs. Now? Im not sure. Mikalo is on his way.
GA (insultingly): So you are just his puppet? A minion?
Corola is trying to ignore that insult, but it did upset him.
GA: Tell me... what do you gain from this, except that magic stuff?
Corola looks surprised. More than by the question itself, he is surprised by the
fact that he doesnt know the answer to that.
GA uses his temporal confusion and breaks from his restrains and then
immidiately smashing the chair into Corola.
The chair breaks and GA sees that Corola blocked it with one hand.
GA: Crap! and tries to get his bow, but Corola stops him with magic.
It feels like he is being squeezed by this invisible force.
GA (struggling, gasping): W-what is t-this Darkness you a-all are talking a-
about?
Corola: Darkness is a being, a powerful entity, through which we can chanel our
powers. And Mikalo wants to summon it to our world. Then he smiles like it was
the best news you cen get to know and tell the others.
GA (with less struggle): Youre sick... which makes Corola upset and so he
smashes GA to the ground. GA loses consciousness.
To black. Sound of an arrow flying through the air and hitting someone.

Oliver wakes up. He is in his GA costume, without the mask or hood on lying on
a couch in the living room of his mansion. It is still dark outside.
He is confused. How did I get here? he asks himself.
He looks around. Nothing suspicious, so he cracks a smile.

He gets up. Hello? he tries, but nothing. The mansion is empty. He shakes his
head and goes to the kitchen to grab some water.
When he drinks a full glass, he presses his comunicator. Watch tower?
WT: Yes sir?
Oliver: What happened earlier this night?
WT: I lost you soon after Mr. Corola revealed information about Darkness sir.
Oliver: How?
WT: Seems like an outside job.
Oliver is surprised: O.K.lets not worry about that now, we have bigger
problems.
Mikalo: Yes, you have.
Oliver looks at Mikalo, who appeared near him. Oliver is shocked and surpised.
Mikalo (upset): I thought you dont kill, Oliver.
Oliver (shocked): I dont.
Mikalo cracks a smile and shakes his head as an sign of not believing him. Then
who killed Gomez by shooting an arrow through his neck?
Oliver is even more shocked. And terrified of the possibility, that it could have
been him.
I... I didnt... he gasps.
Mikalo picks him up in the air with magic and starts his monologue, during which
we see flashback images of said events and things:
But you did, Oliver. You have darkness inside you as well. I can feel it. It
feeds on pain, tragedy and frustration, that your mission hasnt ended. That it is
just a fools crusade. And youre right, Oliver. You didnt stop crime, you didnt
save the city. You more likely hurt this town by inspiring psychos, freaks,
metahumans and more. You brought them here in a way and you know it. You
have failed this city Oliver. This city and your father. Friends, partners, they left
you because of that. Darkness is there, you just need to embrace it.
When he finishes that, he puts Oliver back on the floor.
Oliver has blurred vision, he only sees Mikalo clearly. Voice in his head tells him:
Kill, torture, let him pay.
Oliver then gets to Mikalo and starts beating him senselessly. He breaks his leg
by steping on it hard, he breaks his hand and then ribs by punching and kicking
him.
When Mikalo is all bloody onthe ground, Oliver grabs his head in one hand and
his neck in another. He is ready to kill him. Then the voice says: Stop! Dont kill
him. and Oliver says: But I want to! So much! The voice: NO!
Oliver then gets on his knees and breaks down. He starts crying as he sees
blurred images of Roy
and Dinah leaving, his mother getting killed, his friend Tommy dying, part of the
city being leveled and then, then he sees himself on the island. And his father
right before he shot himself, so he can live.
Oliver is crying, still on his knees. Then he hears Dinahs voice: Ollie? Oliver?!
Oliver opens his eyes. It is already day, sun is shining through the windows.
Dinah is sitting on the floor in front of him. She looks really worried.
Oliver (shaken): What... What happened?
Dinah puts hand on his shoulder and says: I dont know, but we will get through
this. and she follows that up with supporting smile.
Oliver starts to feel dizzy, and as he is falling back to unconsciousness, he
whispers: But you left...
Dinah is shocked and saddened by that.

Oliver wakes up. Again. But now he doesnt feel dizzy anymore. He looks around
and he realizes that he is in the Watch tower.
And as an even bigger surprise, Roy is there.
Oliver (surprised): Roy? What are you doing here?
Roy smirks in a way, that predict he is going to say something awesome.
Babysitting you. How much things turned around from four years back, right?
He smiles even more.
Oliver cracks a smile. Where is Dinah?
Roy: Covering for you, you didnt get to work, they had her number, so she
came.
Oliver is stunned. What? What time is it?
Roy: 4:18 p.m. Dinah found you in the mansion in costume around 9, 9:30. She
came here first though...
Oliver: Thanks.
Roy: What mess did you get into? Mikalo Carter, dark magic and some demon-
Darkness-evil-thingy? pauses and continuous trying to lighten the mood: But
I told you Mikalo was a bad business partner. Three or what years ago, but still
counts, right? Right? Roy sees that it is not working.
Oliver has his head deeply burried in his hands.
Oliver: Did we make a difference?
Roy: What? Thats whats going on? He made you think that?!
Oliver: Hes right.
Roy: No. Its his magic. It tricked you. See? Thats what magic is about, tricking
people.
Oliver (defeated): Doesnt mean hes wrong though... He found that in me!
Roy punches a table, cracks it.
Oliver: Look at all the evil that happened because of me! All the tragedies!
Green Arrow brought them here!
Roy then slaps Oliver in the face. Both are shocked that that actually happened.
Roy (flashback images of said things): Youre a mess now, allright? But you ARE
a hero. HERO! 8 years of fighting crime in this town, occasional member of THE
Justice League... So dont tell me that youre not making any difference! YOU are
a hero. With or without the hood. Olver Queen has helped this city in amazing
way as well. And thats you. Both...
Oliver: So why did you leave?
Roy looks at him, surprised by that question.
Oliver: Hm? If Im so great... WHY?!
Roy loses his nerves: Because I wanted to be free! Free of the feeling of
responsibility, that YOU put in me. And Titans were young, even childish
sometimes and I didnt feel the presure of reality of what we were doing...
I needed that.
Roy exhales deeply and tries to calm down. Oliver looks at him with
understanding.
Oliver: But the responsibility is there. As well as everything else. Its real Roy.
Real as all the stuff we didnt do. Things that we had to. We lost in the bigger
picture...
Roy (trying to control himself): Yes, we lost a lot. All of us. But that happens
when you fight. You win and you lose, but you always get up. YOU taught me
that.
Oliver cant seem to accept that. Maybe I was wrong... he says, almost
whispers.
Roy shakes his head and says: Get yourself together man, there is a battle to
fight.
Less than 7 years ago
Oliver and Tommy are sitting in a destroyed office. Oliver is in his GA costume
(similar to CW Arrows from season 1, but more armored) and is all beaten up.
Tommy: This is not the end Oliver. Just a setback.
Oliver: Just a setback?! Your FATHER just escaped! And is planning on leveling
the Glades! We lost! I failed this city, my father...
Tommy: STOP! Stop it! Stop it and shut up! Stop blaming yourself, stop carrying
the weight of this world on your shoulders. You owe nothing to no one. NO ONE!
Oliver: You cant lock up the darkness. Once its out, its out. And I let it out on
Lian Yu, I had to.
Tommy: You see, I DONT believe that. You ARE who you want to be. So is it
a broken man or a hero?
Tommy then looks at Oliver with supportive and challenging look on his face.

In the citys downtown. There is an old, luxurios hotel that is currently empty and
under reconstruction.
In that building, there is a fully reconstracted beautifull room. Giant room that
speaks power, wealth and beauty.
22 people are sitting on luxurious chairs, while one person is standing in front of
them. That man is Mikalo Carter.
Mikalo: Brothers and sisters, friends! This IS the night we welcome our lord
Darkness into this world! THIS is the night we start a new chapter! Prepare...
Outside the room, in not so good looking hallway (still under reconstruction, as
the rest of the hotel) is Dinah, listening to Mikalos speech.
More than a year ago
Warehouse in industrial area.
Group of gangsters and their leader are discussing something there. We cant
here/see what.
Green Arrow and Black Canary are listening from above.
BC: Im starting to actually like this.
GA: Good, cause were about to drop in.
BC: What?! Now?!
GA: Yep. Then he jumps in there, between the gangsters.
Gangsters are stunned from shock for a second, enough for GA to shoot 3 of
them in the head with boxing-glove arrow.
Then he gets down, so he wont get shot and he takes down one gangster.
Then, whem gangsters are ready to shoot him, an ear-hurting and glass-
shattering scream comes from above. They drop their guns and cover their ears
with hands. It doesnt really work, some of them get on their knees.
BC then drops down and she and GA start to take the gangsters down, while their
heads are spinning and hurting from the canary cry.
Both GA nd BC are great fighters, each with individual style: GA uses his bow
a lot, as well as feet/legs/kicks and shooting boxing-glove arrows at close
distance; while BC uses her hands and lot of acrobatic moves, where, for
instance, she grabs someone with legs, while having hands on the ground and
then spins/flips, making the guy fall on the ground hard. Or jumping on someone
(legs around neck - sitting on his shoulders) and smashing him to the ground.
Plus some team work in taking them down.
After a while of fighting, all the gangsters are down and GA grabs their leader and
picks him up. Talk! he says with voice changer.
Now:
Dinah quickly, but quietly, leaves the hotel and gets in a taxi. To old Saint
Thomass church please. she says.

In Watch tower. Oliver and Roy are quiet.
Roy: So? Whats it gonna be?
Oliver: I dont know man, he is very powerful...
Dinah: Oh stop it, will you?
They both look at her, surprised.
Roy: How did you get here so quietly?
Dinah: Please, I have my tricks. Did you forget?
Roy: I guess, so how does it look?
Dinah: Carter has 22 people with those magic abilities. He himself is the most
powerful one as he started summoning the Darkness.
Oliver: Thats it...
Dinah (upset): Are you listening to yourself? This isnt you, so stop acting like
this! We need to fight.
Oliver: But we cant! He is too powerful and he has 22 men with him! We have
no chance!
Dinah: Jeez, Oliver! If nothing, we can at least use something they cant block!
She looks at Oliver and points somewhere. To a box, that looks indestructible.
Oliver (hopefully): Really?
Dinah: Last resort, right? And you seem to see this that way. she then smirks at
him.
Roy (confused): What? What do we have? Whats going on?
Oliver (optimistic, spirit lifted): The light. Gift from JL.
Roy looks even more confused.
Dinah: Long story, but we could use those things now.
Roy just shakes his head, as he remembers that sometimes he just doesnt get
an explanation.
Oliver (determined): Lets prepare.
_
In front of the hotel.
Mikalos men (and women) are causing chaos.
They are using their magic on cars, buildings, people. Destroying everything
around them.
When police gets there, some of them smile - this is what they wanted.
One man: Sir, police is here.
Mikalo still in that room smirks: Good. Take their hope away.
Police officers try to shoot these people, but they are way too powerfull.
They are hurting or even killing them with ease.
Then GA, RA (Red Arrow - more or less a red and more armored version of GAs
costume) and BC drop there.
BC starts screaming, using her canary cry abilities.
That hurts everyone (even cops), but also gives GA and RA enough time to get to
few of these people and either beat them, or shoot them with paralyzing or
boxing-glow arrows.
BC then joins the fight, letting cops join as well.
GA: Arsenal, Im going in! If anything, use your light arrows!
RA: Be careful! And its Red arrow now! then he smirks.
GA smirks as well and then shoots a rope arrow into the hotel.
RA and BC continue fighting, as GA goes inside.
One woman grabs BC with magic and picks her in the air. Let me see your dark
side? says the woman and her eys turn dark.
RA does an amazing flip over one man and then kicks him in the leg, breaking it.
He then sees BC in the air, so he pulls out an arrow with white, shining arrowhead
and shoots that arrow into the woman that has BC.
Arrow hits the woman in the leg, but as the top of the arrowhead appears on the
other side, she sees it and screams from pain. Then her powers leave her and BC
drops down on the ground.
Inside, GA gets to Mikalo. He is pale, dark eyes and veins. Also has dark
aura around him.
GA: Mikalo?
Miklo: Hes not here anymore.
GA: You wont take this world Darkness.
Darkness: Ha, I dont want to take it, I want to break it.
GA: I wont let you.
Darkness: You seem confident. Darkness is still inside you, you know? And as
long as it is there, I own you.
GA: Well see.
Then GA quickfires an arrow, but Darkness moves his hand to stop it.
Then we see that the arrow has white, shining arrowhead. The light arrow cuts
through Darknesss hand and hit him under the shoulder.
Darkness is shocked. How?
GA: Arrowhead from Gods stone, something the Justice League got as a gift
when they helped them. Pure light.
Darkness pulls the arrow out. We see he bleeds and his aura is gone. This wont
stop ME.
GA then runs towards him, quickfiring regular arrows. Darkness is either dodging
them, or catching them. When GA gets to him, they start fighting.
It almost seems like Darkness is using GAs style of fighting.
They fight for a while and then Darknes grabs GA by throat and throws him away.
Outside. RA, BC and the police are fighting agains the rest (now only 15-
16).
BC screams, giving RA the opportunity to knock three of them out.
RA: I need to use the light bomb!
BC: Save it for later!
RA: There wont be later!
Then, we see that they are out numbered. BC nods and RA pulls out an explosive
light arrow and fires it to 8-10 Darknesss people. The arrow explodes near them
and pieces of the arrowhead hit these people. Its not enough to completely
depower them, but enough for RA, BC and rest of the cops to start taking them
down quickly.
Inside. GA is on the ground, Darkness comes to him.
Darkness: You depowerd me, but Im still better than you!
Then he picks him up and looks in his eyes. If you cant embrace your darkness,
I willdo it for you. he says and then a dark energy starts to flow from him to GA.
GA starts breathing it in.
GA (struggling): You know... Youre right. But... d-do you know what? I do-ont c-
care!
Then GA pulls out a sharp piece of Gods stone and stabs Darkness in the side of
his torso. Darkness screams, the flow is lost and he drops GA. Then he looks at
the wound.
GA: Sorry, didnt have time to build another arrow.
Then GA starts beating the living cra out of Darkness.
After a huge beat down, Darkness is on the ground. Then he starts to change
back - he gets his skin color back, his veins arent visible and dark anymore and
his eyes are back to normal as well.
Now Mikalo looks at GA.
You disapointed me. says GA and knocks him out.
Outside. Only few of Darknesss men are still fighting.
Then their powers leave them. They start looking around, confused, scared and
shocked.
RA: He did it!
BC: Darkness is down.
BC smiles with happines and relief. RA gets to her and they both go inside, as
Darknesss men are getting themselves arrested by remaining cops.
As they go inside, GA walks outside, carrying unconscious Mikalo.
BC and RA are happy to see him. He is happy too.
RA (jokingly): Dont get cocky now, it was the Gods stone.
They start laughing.
Then, GA leaves Mikalo to the police and the 3 of them disappear.
_
In Olivers mansion. Him, Dinah and Roy are there.
Oliver: So, will you stay?
Roy (overly serious tone): Of course, otherwise youre screwed!
They laugh.
Dinah: I wont, not yet. If youre O.K. with that. she smiles at him in very
supporting way.
Oliver: Of course, its your life. I will wait for you, keeping hope. Same with you
Roy.
Roy: Well, whenever Im not with Titans I can be here.
Oliver: Its O.K. The world doesnt end with my relationship, or partnership. Or
with me being alone. But it can end if I lose my focus on things that really matter
because of that.
Roy (not serious): Now thats great to hear!
Dinah: Im always here for you, this is not the end for us.
Roy: For any of us, we are just a call away.
Oliver: Thank you, I love so much.
Both Dinah and Roy smile. Oliver smiles as well.
Roy: Allright, I want TV, snacks and relax. Whos with me?
They laugh and then go to the living room.
To black.

Post credits/ Epilogue:
Oliver is in his mansion, having fun with Roy and Dinah. They are watching some
movie, eating snacks and laughing.
A man in dark grey and black costume (that resembles GAs costume, but with
long sleeves and more ninja looking - similar, but still very different, to League
of Assasins in CWs Arrow, more like mix of that and GAs current costume)
watches them from outside. The man pulls down his hood and we see Tommy
with a burnt scar across his face.
Then we see as on one of the shelves in Olivers mansions living room is a photo
of younger Oliver and younger Tommy (without the scar). The caption on the
photo says: Ollie and Tommy, brothers for life
To black.

Green Arrow action. He is in a warehouse, taking down gangsters (most of them

He looks around. Nothing suspicious, so he cracks a smile.
