1 Title: Instructional Screencast How to Setup Students on MobyMax McFatridge Task Analysis and Instructional Screencast FRIT7233 Fall 2015 2 The first thing is to make sure you have an account with MobyMax. If you do please be patient while I make sure to explain how to get an account to those that may not have one. For those that do not have an account you will need to go to www.mobymax.com and choose Have a license. Enter the appropriate information and choose Register Free.
3 Enter the appropriate information and choose
Register Free.
The school zip code is 30814.
Then choose North Harlem Elementary.
4 You are now ready to sign in to MobyMax.
McFatridge Task Analysis and Instructional Screencast FRIT7233 Fall 2015 5 Once you are signed in you will need to choose the tile called Roster.
You will then be shown the opportunity to
register a new student or bulk register a student. If have already registered your students please continue to listen as there is some pertinent information that you will need to make sure you have completed after I show how to bulk register students.
You can however use the register new
students throughout the school year when a student is added to your class. 6 In the Bulk Register I have found it easiest to just choose option 1. We will go back though shortly and change a few things after we have all our students registred.
7 You will need to enter the students first name
and last name.
If you are just registering your students it is
important that you enter a student ID as well. We have chosen to use the students lunch number as their student ID. This will allow us to promote the students at the end of the year and will not have to mass register students next year. McFatridge Task Analysis and Instructional Screencast FRIT7233 Fall 2015 8 Now that you have all your students registered it may seem a little time consuming but it is really simple and fast to alter a few things inside their information.
You will need to open your roster or keep it
open at this point. Then you will click the little gear icon beside each student.
At this point you can choose the students
grade level. Now is where you can see their student ID. You will use that number and change the password they have been given to that number as well.
We have in the past had issues with students
getting onto others accounts because the computer remembers the students username. The students remembered that their username and password were the same so they just retyped the one that popped up and would get access to another students account. By making sure the username and password are not the same this is no longer an issue. 9 Once you have changed all the students password and grade level information you are now ready to print either a student login card or a parent letter.
