PREFACE
1.1 BACKGROUND
Students are the way of the increasing the knowledge and countrys
future.
As well as known there are many branch of science . A lot of researchers succes
of their researchs, and the reasearch can bring movement and make better
chnge.All the reasearch start with hypothesis and then became conclusion of
research and observation. And it become theory and then became the law.

Would you know what the ideal place to do all reasearch and find a
invention?. This answer is laboratory. Not only know about the place but we
must know about to keep the laboratory, how to managing the laboratory? And,
what the charateristic of laboratory.

Nowadays may laboratory not interested by students because of the

design, managing, fasility, and appear os laboratory. And theres still students
didnt know about management in laboratory. Thats all the reason, why we are
writer interesting to write this working paper.

All of science just a ation of perfecting daily thought (Albert Einsten).

Managing a good managements in laboratory is very important to us for
increasing empowering of laboratory

Ecology is a part which is most important in our life because ecology is a

theres a classroom set for learning activity and the back, is for
observation and research activity. Ecology Laboratory in State University
of Malang is 6,6 meters X 10,25 Meters wide.

For fluenty the laboratory activity is needed the staff. Staff have a
responsbility for managing the laboratory in first floor include ecology
laboratory there are two staffs their name are Mrs.Diah Ayu and Mr.Udin.
Duty of staff :
1. Organize and save laboratory instrument and specimen
2. Keep the cleaness, especially instrument and specimen
3. Prepare the instrument for practice activity
4. Give the laboratory service

Routine cost for
1. Once use instrument for example : tissue and blotting paper
2. Matterial for example : chemical matterial and fresh matterial
3. Maintenance
4. Saving instrument

1. Budgetting for one year in Biology Departement maximal 200
millions rupiahs from Faculty Mathematic and Science.
2. Buying the new instrument
3. Buyying for matterials and recovery instrument

A good saving and maintaning will be make longer a lifespan of
the instrumen
1. For a microscope and the other expensive instrument theres a
special maintenance. Every different instrument have different
maintenance
2. After using the intrument must be cleaning and saving the
instrument
