1.0 PURPOSE:
To detail the standard operating procedure for operation of meter Toledo electronic
balance Model: B 204-S.

2.0 SCOPE
This SOP applies to Quality control laboratory of Raim Homoeo Laboratories, Bogadia,
Kishoregonj, Bangladesh.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY
QC Officer

4.0 DEFINITIONS

5. PRECAUTIONS:

5.1. The room where the instrument is installed should be cooled & humidity should be
controlled & free from dust.
5.2. Check the supply fuses, voltage to the appropriate value.
5.3. Before switching Off or On ensure that the instrument is empty and clean.
5.4. Press the Keys softly.

6. Procedure:

6.1 Connect to power supply.

6.2 Press the ON/OFF button. The screen will display 0.0000g
6.3. Place a tracing paper or a suitable object on what you want to weigh.
6.4 Now press O/T button to tare
6.5.Place your material on the tracing paper/object and wait for few seconds until
Disappearing the sign on the left-bottom side
6.6. After completion weighing, press the ON/OFF button to off the machine.
