A. The risks develop through the water.
1. Water will bring the risk when people do not get enough food and clean water

B. One of the risks is the development of Leptospirosis disease.

and mucous membrane with water or environment dirty with infected animal
urine rat.

Health Ministry of Health Malaysia (2011) indicated Leptospirosis is usually a
seasonal disease, cases may occur throughout the year with outbreaks
associated with extreme changing weather events such as heavy rainfall and
flooding.

(Transition: Given the problem, so whats the solution?)

II. These risks can be prevented by maintaining a high level of personal hygiene.
A. One of the ways for personal hygiene is washing hands with soap and clean
water.

soap.

victims to use clean water and keep the water clean enough to significantly
reduce infection.

(Preview: Should you deny personal hygiene, your health condition will worsen.)
III. There will be serious medical repercussions if the floods victims do not maintain a
high level of personal hygiene.
A. One of the repercussions is their chances of developing bacteria will increase.
1. Smith (2013) found that those who do not maintain personal hygiene such
as not drinking clean water over one day had an increased chance of
developing bacteria named E.Colli.
2. A study by Thompson (2015) has identified an increase in the incidence of
kidney failure, in the area where the water is gathered.

B. Another repercussion is users who use unclean water will expose they to a
greater cancer risk.
