INTRODUCTION
Smoking is a practice in which a substance is to be tasted and absorbed into the blood
stream. Most commonly the substance is the dried leaves of the tobacco plant which
have been rolled into a small square of rice paper to create a small round cylinder called
a cigarette smoking .
Cigarette are primarily industrially manufactured but also can be hand rolled from loose
tobacco and rolling paper. Othersmoking implements include pipes, cigars, bids,
vaporizer and bongs. A 2007 report States that each year about 4.9 million people
worldwide die as a result of smoking. Smoking is one of the most common forms of
recreational drug use.
METHODS
To find out information l used questionnaire as the tool for collecting the relevant
information , the subject and the personal details of the family. The primary sampling unit
was the individual households. Preliminary information was collected from a responsible
adult of the houthold . I selected an age group in between 17- 64 and make an interview
of 50 people in them. The questionnaire was very easy to handle for all people , and it
only consistof yes or no question , it helps the people to markout firstly and reliability
RESULTS
The major finding of the study have been interpreted and used to evolve some findings .
Health effect associated with the smoking intake in large amount includes an increased
risk. Lung cancer, bronchitis, asthma, chest cold are the major problems in the study.
Wide use of smoking may brings major disease conditions as well as mentally and
physically unstable.
DISCUSSION
Smoking can be curable if it has been detected at the early stage. The smoking person it
self take a decision to act against smoking and should survive without it. Most of the
complicated diseases caused due to smoking are detected at early stage, but could not
be cited easily. The main problem ofsmoking is lung cancer .
