THE WOODS AT CANCO, PORTLAND, ME 2017-PRESENT
Practicum Student
Practicum placement as a student counselor to help retirement community members (65 years old +) deal with

life transitions and personal concerns. Coordinates with on-site supervisor to establish base relationship with
potential clients. Video records each session and works one-on-one with university supervisor to grow
competency and counseling skills.
Counseling 4 clients / week from January - May term.
Completing intake process for each client and learning about any additional paperwork along the way.

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MAINE, PORTLAND, ME 2016-PRESENT

Graduate Assistant
Managed communication between the university and community partners for service learning and volunteer
initiatives. Worked with professors and local organizations to coordinate service learning courses, Managed
outreach to students regarding service learning and volunteer events. Connected students with best-fit service
learning and volunteer opportunities.
Represented the university in maintaining a positive collaborative relationship with 90+ community
partners.

LIQUID, PORTLAND, ME 2014-2015

Business Operations Specialist
Facilitated cross-department communication and coordinated events and initiatives between Liquid and their
parent company, Publishers Clearing House. Acted as a direct assistant to 5 departments in the Portland office:
Operations, Sales, Media, Design, and Development.
Implemented an internship program which built recruitment relationships between Liquid and 12
universities, resulting in 5 interns.
Recruited and screened potential employees for permanent job openings. Resulted in 8 employees.
Managed a 3 day sales summit event for 60 attendees from Liquids 5 offices. Communicated with 10
local companies to help contribute amenities to support workshops, speakers and team building company

Managed campaigns and managed cross-department communication.
Provided customer service to 30+ credit unions in Maine and New England. Managed communication between
clients and the marketing, design and print production departments. Traveled to clients for in-person marketing

LOCAL THUNDER, PORTLAND, ME 2013

Marketing Coordinator
Managed companys social media accounts, blog, website and partner Member Based Organization (MBO)
sites.
Provided marketing consultation and copywriting services to 200+ clients from our 20 MBO online directories.
Managed social media marketing on Facebook, Twitter and WordPress. Coordinated cross-department
communication to design new client onboarding best practices. Researched competitor sites and compiled
comparative data.
