Classroom Procedures
In the spirit of Lasallian Education, our procedures come from Mullen High
Schools Profile of a Mullen Graduate at Graduation:
To reflect the value of Faith in the Presence of God, every class will
begin with a teacher or student led prayer that establishes the
appropriate tone in the classroom
To reflect the value of Concern for the Poor and Social Justice, students
will be aware of their talents and the talents of others while
establishing a critical view of the world around us

2
To reflect the value of Excellence in Education, students will come to
class prepared by completing all required assignments before class and
earn their grade through their efforts
To reflect the value of Respect for All Persons, students are expected to
complete their own work, follow the policies of the Handbook, and be
attentive to the needs of others
To reflect the value of Participation within Inclusive Community,
students will join in discussions and activities creating a positive
environment that welcomes all members
Other policies not listed above can be found within the Mullen High
School Student-Parent Handbook

Other Information
Late work, assignments not turned in by the due date, will earn a 50%.
To avoid zero credit, students may turn in late assignments for partial
credit before the end of the specific unit the assignment takes place
Make up work will be equal to the number of days absent. It is the
students responsibility to arrange the make-up date and time for
quizzes and assessments. After five days of being in class without a
quiz make-up, it will be counted as zero.
Extra credit is available! One extra credit assignment for the trimester
can be discussed with the teacher during office hours. This can add a
maximum of 10 points to any assessment (except the Final Exam). This
needs to be proposed and completed at least two days before the
Review Day.
