Ignition and Shut-Off


(1) Slowly turn the gas flow control knob to the left
(CCW), and fuel gas will blow out with a hiss.
(2) Push the ignition lever forward, and the gas will be
ignited electronically with a snapping sound.
(3) For shut-off, turn the gas flow control knob to the
right (CW) and close it securely.
Thermal Power Control
Adjusting the thermal output. (The highest
temperature attainable will be about 2,500F)
After ignition, turn the Air Control Knob either
Clockwise to the right or Counter Clockwise to the left
for necessary thermal power adjustments. This will
provide a softer yellow flame.

Gas Refilling

Use Blazer Brand Butane gas, or comparable premium grade butane, for best results.
Shake butane canister a few times to warm up fuel, insert the canister nozzle vertically
down into the gas refill opening found at the base of the torch.
Move the nozzle slightly up and down to release the butane. Stop refilling when the fuel
gas starts to overflow. Typically 5-10 seconds. The GB2001 plastic base can then be
reattached.
WARNING:
The GB2001 should be handled by literate adults, or under constant adult supervision. It
is essential that the following operating procedures be read and understood before
attempting to light or use the BLAZER GB2001 torch. These procedures MUST be
carefully observed in order to promote safe usage.

Keep out of the reach of children

Keep Torch away from sparks when igniting
Keep BLAZER gas torch away from open fires and avoid temperatures over 50
degrees C.
Do not expose to the sun for a long period
BLAZER gas torch has been adjusted for perfect functioning.
Do not make technical changes
When refilling keep away from open flame or sparks
Please make sure after using BLAZER gas torch that the gas flow control knob is
firmly closed and the flame completely extinguished.
LIMITED WARRANTY

BLAZER products warrants each BLAZER GB2001 torch and parts thereof manufactured
for it or included with it, to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under
normal use and service, for a period of no more than one (1) year from the date of retail
purchase. If for some reason trouble should develop do the following:
Return the defective part postage prepaid to BLAZER Products, enclose $5.95 for
handling and postage. Enclose a note telling us what the problem is. If our inspection
shows that the part or piece is defective, we will make all necessary repairs free of charge
or replace it at BLAZER Products sole option. This warranty does not apply to the outer
finish of your torch. To obtain service under this warranty please return torch with
information as to date, name, and location of purchase and your receipt. If we feel your
problem is not covered by our warranty we will inform you of sure and why and estimate
how much it will cost to repair. If agreed we will repair. BLAZER Products will not be
liable for any consequential damaged resulting from the use of its torch.
BLAZER Products offers this warranty in lieu of all other express or implied warranties
including warranties of merchantability or fitness to be in effect only for the duration of
the express warranty set forth in the above. We cannot exchange or replace or service
merchandise that is obsolete, discontinued, or in any way different than items on the
currently effective price list.
