Books, books,books. T plays the audio track linked to the exercises again
to check if they were right.

4. Watching/Listening activity:

Activity: Ps watch a short video about a girl, Meena, who hates reading. T
gives a handout to be completed after watching it. In the end, they have
to answer a few questions after reading an excerpt from the book with the
same name. Then, they have to put in the right order the images showing
the story of Meena.

5. Practice(all skills) :
Time: 15
Activity: Ps get a handout-Reading is fun. First they read a text about
Leo, who loves reading. Then they have to prepare some interview
questions for their deskmates in order to find out a few things about their
reading preferences. In pairs, they ask and answer each others questions.
Some of them will report to the class. Then Ps are grouped into teams of 4
and have to list things we can read and a few famous writers.

6. Homework assignment and evaluation:
Time: 10
Activity: Ps watch a short play called: A crazy story, where the actors
are some of their classmates. While watching they have to choose and
write down the name of a character from the play( Ps are familiar with the
characters because they are well-known story characters-Cinderella, Red
Rding Hood, Spiderman etc). For hw, they will have to make the portrait of
him/her filling in the handout called Character chat . T gives all necessary
explanatios, praises all Ps and gives marks for the best contributions to the
lesson, the most active Ps.
