Redeven Cooking System

I. Executive Summary:
Health: sought after by most, and a necessity to all. However, how can one be healthy if all that is served is
fast food and microwaved meals? Our process of cooking and preparing fresh foods gives our meals the
highest quality for the consumer and preserves much of the nutritional value. The system of Paquet
Bouillant works by placing either a meat-based meal, or fruits and vegetables, inside a vacuum-sealed bag
and then placing it into a tub of temperature controlled water, preferably around 130. This allows for the
product to keep a delicate texture compared to foods grilled which can take on a rougher, leather- like
texture. Our product keeps consumers healthy by providing them with the full amount of nutrients they
would need to overcome lifes challenges, and seize the day.

II. Mission Statement:


The ultimate goal of the Redeven Cooking System (R.C.S.) is to provide high quality, healthy food. With our
system and our luxurious food, we will be able to help many achieve a healthier lifestyle, accept
themselves for who they are, and strengthen confidence in their appearance. Our company will promote a
healthy lifestyle while maintaining a healthy profit margin. We will prevail over our competition in similar
markets by: building trust and a reputation for high quality, healthy food choices, and being thankful for the
reinforcement of our faithful customers.

III. Product Idea:

Paquet Bouillant is the process by which our food will be prepared and cooked. This style is done through

cooking any type of food within a vacuum package submerged into a controlled environment of heated

water. However, with this cooking style originating from the ideas of French chefs, our company Redeven

Cooking Co., will be taking this principal idea and adding an American twist to it. In order to improve upon

their ideas, we will be adding the benefit of freshness delivered to ones doorstep each day. In a neat

package, organic fruits, vegetables, and meats will be sent with preparation instructions to be used in

conjunction with the R.C.S.. The fresh, hand-delivered food is packaged each day based on the customers

personalized selection. They can also pick from a list constructed by world renowned chefs (located on our

website URL located at end of paper). Customers also have the capability to choose specific shipment

dates for their meals and can change ingredients within the meal based on their preferences. The R.C.S.

will be available for purchase on our website, as well as in specialized cooking stores such as: Williams-

Sonoma, HomeGoods, and Sur La Table.

A. Distribution
In order to appeal to our market, and have a responsiveness to our customers wishes, we will be
working with the United States Postal Service (USPS) to deliver our product to customers across
the nation. By using first class postal service and one-day shipping options, we plan to deliver our
products to all regions of the United States. A flat delivery fee will be included in the total cost of
purchase which will pay for the delivery of our food (Prices will vary depended on deliver zone).
However, later in the future Redeven Cooking Co. will build their own distribution centers in order to
curb the cost of shipping off the customers shoulders and onto the companys.

IV. Problems/Solutions:

Quality of food is decreasing due to cost-competition between companies, therefore food quality

has become a low standard within the United States. Preservatives, along with other chemicals, are a direct

cause of diminishing food quality. While conventional means of cooking meat either on the grill, cooking

fruits or vegetables in water (boiling), or either of them on the stove, much of the nutritional value is lost due

to high cooking temperatures. When cooking meat at high temperatures, vitamins, proteins, minerals, and

fatty acids are lost, thus reducing the health value of the food. However, with the R.C.S., the meat is cooked

without water coming into contact with the food. This prevents the loss of healthy vitamins or minerals.

Continuing on to fruits and vegetables, this same issue of reduced quality is addressed by Redeven

Cooking Co. shipping you a fresh selection of fruits, vegetables, and meats to your door step daily (shipped

upon order placement). Additionally, we only ship organic foods in order to obtain the highest and healthiest

quality possible. In the end, this results in the healthiest version of a meal due to the preservation of

minerals in the cooking process. This process helps to preserve the healthy bacteria that resides in the

foods, and allows for our food to have an extended shelf life.

Moving onto the next problem, the R.C.S. allows for a safer and easier means of preparing food.

With the R.C.S. having the latest in heating and computer- control technology, we were able to cook food by

accurately maintaining a consistent water temperature. Additionally, the food is not needing to be cooked at

a boiling point. The water is thus cooler and reduces the possibility of injury. Furthermore, there are

generally lengthy steps that are taken when preparing food using traditional means, which include a heated

cooking surface. These spaces include: large heating elements, wave generator, flames, electricity, and

coals. With the R.C.S. being fundamentally different from that of a conventional stove or grill, the R.C.S.

utilizes the vacuum bag to restrict oxygen which kills off all harmful forms of bacteria that can reside in food.

Employing the use of a vacuum package and the R.C.S. heating element, our process is similar to

microwave technology by using water as an advantage. The heating element transfers heat into the water,

which in turn transmits into the food while at the same time accelerating the water inside the food.

Therefore, this eliminates all harmful bacteria while cooking the food throughout.

The United States is a developer of fatty and junk foods which flood the market at an exponential

rate. This causes obesity rates to climb among adults and children. A large number of adults (68.8%) are

considered obese or at the least over-weight. Besides these issue existing among adults, even childhood

obesity rates are rising to a high of 35.7%. Our nation must unite to address these problems. Fast food and

sugary drinks have been found to be the two leading causes of obesity, as stated by NHS Choices. The

other is the lack of sufficient daily exercise in ones regiment and NHS Choices continues to state that a

combination of the two leads to obesity among most populations in the United States. Traditionally, oil is

used in order to prevent searing of meats, and the oil contains high amounts of cholesterol and fats. But,

with the R.C.S., no oil is required as there is no chance of burning the meat, or any other foods you may

cook. Our style of cooking preserves nutrients, minerals, and provides a fresh cut of meat without

preservatives and many other harmful chemicals being used in our preparation stages.

V. Customer Segments:

Redeven Cooking Co. is focusing on selling our product to people with a higher than average income and

who are located in the Untied States. We are planning to target the higher-income families as it is costly to

produce such a healthy food. We will also be appealing to the more opulent cities in America, such as:

Miami, New York City, as well as Los Angeles. Besides high-income cities, we will target states who acquire

a high average G.D.P. per capita. Also, our company will focus on a more winsome packaging to catch the

customers eye. On the packaging, we will provide a brief, detailed set of instructions to prepare certain

types of meals. Information about our product will also be visible to the customer for their benefit of gaining

an understanding of our product; therefore, influencing the customer to purchase our product for their next

meal.

- Psychographic: customers are getting a better quality product, healthier for families; its easy to
prepare, more nutritional value
- Demographic: high-wealth income people or high-middle class people
- Geographic: United States; wealthy cities or of larger size (ex. west and east coast, New York
City, Miami, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, San Francisco, Grand Rapids, etc)

VI. Unique Value proposition:

Our product has the capability to change the status quo of cooking. We are introducing a new attribute of

cooking not yet discovered by the American society. By remastering the conventional means of cooking, our

product will strike the eyes of many open minded and adventurous people looking to enhance their

customary lifestyle. With our advanced strategy of cooking, we are bringing an ensemble of new customary

ideas to the table (With an introduction of something fairly new the process is under development;

therefore, we have few competitors). Our product will be adept at providing a meal that is thoroughly

cooked, precisely seasoned to delight, a more wholesome value of healthy

vitamins, minerals, and proteins, and an overall freshness that is impossible to achieve by the traditional

means of cooking.

VII. Competitive Advantage:


Our product is able to maintain a healthier edge compared to the foods located in grocery stores across the
United States. By applying modern science with traditional means of cooking, we have established a
product unlike our competitors; therefore, attracting the attention of our adventurous consumers.

A. Advertising
Advertising can be an expensive and tedious process for companies who have products entering the
market. But, with our website creator, Weebly.com, we have the ability to make and post a Google
Ad at no extra cost to our company. Weebly has a partnership with Google allowing people to create
new websites and get a few personalized ads for free under sites searches through the Google
Search Engine. With easy access to Ads by Google with no extra fees, we can share our product
with the country and set the money aside, that would be used for advertising, on other aspects that
we deem necessary to spear our product and company growth.

VIII. Solutions: (Numbers relate to paragraphs in Problem section)

1. A healthy lifestyle, provided by the R.C.S. system, is accomplished by us providing you a daily selection

of organic fruits, vegetables, and meats to your door step, where you are then able to cook the food in the

vacuum sealed bag the food was provided in and submerged in warm water. This results in the healthiest

version of a meal due to the preservation of minerals throughout the cooking process.

2. With the R.C.S. being fundamentally different from that of a Conventional stove or grill, the R.C.S. utilizes

the vacuum bag to restrict oxygen which kills off all harmful forms of bacteria that can reside in food.

preservatives or any other harmful chemicals being used in the preparation of our foods. Overall, our

product will assist in lowering the obesity rates in the United States by reducing fatty oils consumed by

Americans.

IX. Conclusion:

The R.C.S. is a much more pliable alternative for people who love to munch and cook. The Redeven

Cooking System, promoted by Redeven Cooking Co., is a great alternative to our competitor's product for a

number of reasons such as: cooking the food while preserving vitamins, minerals, as well as the healthy

bacteria that preserves the food. Our cooking system and food provides a healthy alternative for our

potential customers, and is a much safer means of cooking than what has been practiced for generations.
