13 year old teeneger(The main character of the movie) sometimes has to do bad things
to survive. The movie Hunt for the wilderpeople has three positive life lessons for Junior
High students such as sometimes the easiest choice isn't the easiest choices, your
family isn't always who you're related to,and sometimes good people do bad things.
Sometimes good people do bad things. In the movie Hunt for the Wilderpeople
Rickey and his uncle Hector (Hector isn't his real uncle) had to steal food to survive in
the wild,They were living in wild because the government considered Hector unable to
taker of himself and the government wanted Ricky to live in a foster home so Rickey
and Hector were hiding in the wild.So steling food is wrong but Rickey and Hector
needed food to survive;but they are not bad people. Another example is that Rickey
committed some crimes before he met Hector but that does not make him a bad person
it just means that Rickey needed to commit does crimes to survive. Also Ricky and
Hector took care of each other and they just wanted to survive. So as you can see
sometimes good people do bad things and the decision that they make are not always
the easiest.
In addition Sometimes the best choices are not always the easiest choices. For
example in the movie Hunt for the Wilderpeople Hector had to shot his own dog
because a boar had severely hurt Hectors dog, so Hector had to kill his dog so he
would not suffer so this example should that best choices are not always the easiest
choices. Another example that Sometimes the best choices are not always the easiest
choices is when Ricky had to lie to Hector(On the very beginning of the stories when
they were not friends) so Ricky could run away from the foster home and from Hector.
So as you can see the best choices are not always the easiest choices and sometimes
So family are not always who you are related to. For example in the movie Hunt
for the Wilderpeople Ricky isn't related to Bella and Hector but he still considers tham
as family because they are the ones who take care of him, give him food ,teach him new
things so those are the reasons why Ricky consider Bella and Hector as family.Another
example that family are not always who you are related to is the fact that Ricky consider
Tupac(His dog) family because Tupac is always with Ricky what ever place he goes. So
So as you can see Ricky had trouble and he still was a good person, this movie
teaches that sometimes good people do bad things, sometimes the best choice isn't the
easiest choice and your family isn't always who you're related to. So that's why the
movie Hunt for the wilderpeople has three positive life lessons for Junior High students .
