It is a privilege and an honor to write this letter ofrecommendation oD behalfofDanieile Nagy. I have
krown Danielle since September of20l6, when she was urder my supervision as a courlselirg intern at
Thousand Oaks High School. Danielle has a heart for counseling and a passion for guiding students in the
direction of their dreams.

As an intem, Danielle has done a remarkablejob meeting the needs ofour student population. She spent
time creating currjculum for two grcups on campus and \jvas able to facilitate one ofthe groups during the
lall semester, one ofour busiest times ofyear. Danielle did an excellentjob running a group for 1211' grade
seniors transitioning into tie college aDd career setting. Slre assisted them in their applications to college
and helped support them in creating goals for their future. Danieile also spenttime attending SST's,
IEP's, 504's, Case Conferences, and has spent numerous hours with our at dsk students. In addiiion to all
these wonderful tlings, DaDielle provided individual and group counseliDg services related to academic,
career and social skills development. She consulted with studenis, parents, teachers and community
agencies to assist in meeting the needs olall her students. Communication and organization werc one of
Danielle's many sirengths.

The special thing about Danielle is that she was an integral pari ofthe TOHS counseling team and helped
support and pafticipate in several night evenis on and offcampus. Danielle worked closely with our
college and career liaison to present to parents, students aDd staff on a technique used to reduce anxiety,
called the 60-second recharge. Danielle also helped coordinate and ruu aNaviance tmining as a staff
development. She did a wonderfulj ob working with our staff on ways to begjn the college and career
exploration process with the student's through Naviance.

As aD intern, Danjelle effectively addressed complex and difficult issues with professionalism and
enpathy. While Danielle spent a majority ofher time working closely with our College and Career
Advisor, she always utilized hertime wisely. Danielle supervised college visits to our campus, provided a
rcsume building workshop, and helped volunteer for our district wide College Infomation Night.

During hertime at Thousand Oaks High School, Danielle has developed quality professional relationships
with counselors, teachers, administrators and classified stafl Danielle was a huge asset to have on
campus. She is candid, assertive and was always willing to go the extra mile in the best interest ofthe
students. I highly recomfrend Danielle Nagy for a position as a School Counselor.
