To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Jinger Haynes. I have known Jinger
for approximately three years, having had her in class for two years. Jinger was in my Spanish 1 class and
also took Spanish 2 with me. From the very first day of class, Jinger stood out as a serious, hard-working
student. She prepared for class and was always ready to answer any challenging question.

In the fall of the year that she took Spanish 2, she realized she didnt have any room in her schedule for a
one-trimester anatomy class that she really felt would benefit her intended course of study in college.
After speaking with her mother and the principal, we all decided to allow Jinger to complete Spanish 2 as
an independent study course in 2 trimesters rather than 3. Jinger worked extremely hard with my
guidance and completed two trimesters of work in one, thus allowing her to take her anatomy course in
the third trimester of the year. Jinger went above and beyond in this endeavor. We spent time together
going over grammar and vocabulary, but she spent a lot of time outside class making sure she gained the
knowledge necessary to pass the exams for this course. She proved herself to be capable of independent
work, with her eyes on her future goals, doing the work necessary to achieve her dreams.

Jinger never shirks the academically difficult coursework available here at North Branch High School,
rather she seeks out opportunities that will challenge her and better prepare her for a future of deeper
academic studies. She is a conscientious student, not just worrying about her grades, but concerning
herself with deeply understanding whatever topic she is studying.

Jinger also works very hard outside of the classroom. She has been a star volleyball player here in North
Branch for many years. She excels on a stand-out team and is an integral part of a high-achieving group
of student athletes. Jinger is also involved in student government here at NBHS.

Jinger is a very mature, caring, and self-aware young lady. She is a great example to her peers in her own
very thoughtful way. She will patiently explain concepts that are difficult for her classmates to
understand. I have witnessed her quietly helping others in many difficult subjects. She has a quiet, calm
way of helping her peers to grasp difficult topics. Her very caring nature also allows her to work very well
with others.

Jinger would be a very strong candidate for your school and I do not hesitate in giving her my highest
recommendation. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,
