Anyone in the world can change no matter how they are and what they are like.
In the movie Hunt for the Wilder people people change to someone you would never
expect and that person is Ricky Baker. Ricky was this person who was rude and was
also very selfish but he changed. Ricky is a dynamic character and throughout the story
he starts to change. He was a careless person, he wasnt open minded and towards
the end he gained respect to himself and other people. As the the time goes by Ricky
started to change to a better person . In the beginning Ricky only cared about himself
but he began to care about others. Before Ricky moved into the new family with Hec
and Bella he was a bad boy and all day long he would run around doing bad things
like graffiti the wall, steal things, break things, throw things, runaway and etc. When he
went to the new family he set the barn on fire, and etc. Throughout the story he started
changing and started caring about other people besides himself. When Hec fell and
kind of broke his leg Ricky started to change, as in caring for Hec and searching for
food to take care of Hec and they started to care for each other. When Paula tried to
take him back to the foster place, he wouldnt let them because he cared about Hec and
he stood up to them and ran. He also had other problems as in having to gain respect
and be open minded to things so he doesn't keep everything inside and get
overwhelmed by everything.
Before Ricky was moved into the new family he wasnt open minded and he had
always kept everything to himself. Ricky had always kept things to himself no matter
what it was, he doesn't share things with other people, he didn't really talk much, and he
also kept his feelings to himself. He was very quiet but he made progress to share
things with other people. Ricky had also didn't care about a lot things and other people
besides himself. After a while he started to tell them things that he felt and he had
shared a story about this person that he cared very much about to Hec and said that
when she died he was very upset. After all these things Ricky also started to gain
Ricky had started to gain respect for other people and he showed respect for
himself too. Throughout the story Ricky started to change and started to show that he
cared about others and not just himself. He showed respect to Hec towards the end
when Ricky had accidentally shot Hec with a shotgun. Afterwards he went up to Hec to
apologize to Hec about what happened. This is all part of Hec changing the way he
cares about himself and others. I thought this was one of the major changes is Rickys
personality. Ricky starts to also gain respect for himself when he starts to treat other
In conclusion, In the movie Hunt for the Wilder people Ricky is a dynamic
character. this is why anyone in the world can change and that also means you. If you
don't like something that you do then you can change it because life is a gift and you
