1. INTRODUCTION
The contents of this manual are provided as an information guide only and are not intended to be
comprehensive, thus details which may be relevant to particular circumstances may have been
omitted. The contents are written in general terms. While every effort is made in preparing material
for publication, no responsibility is accepted by or on behalf of the State for any errors, omissions or
misleading statements in this manual.

It is strongly recommended that independent advice from a professional adviser be obtained in


relation to any specific queries which a person may have concerning the application of Limited
Liability Partnership legislation.

2. THE HOME PAGE


The home page contains a toolbar of links to the other pages and tabs which allow you to quickly
access various information. It also allows access to your profile.

The links and tabs that are available to different users vary depending on what type of user they are,
General, Verified Professional etc.

DASHBOARD

The Dashboard tab opens by default. It is an overview of your activity. It contains quick links to
individual items, e.g you can go directly to an item of correspondence by clicking on the in the
Correspondence grid.

The individual grids will only be displayed if there is information to display.

Your Summary is a breakdown of your activity:

Complaints which you lodged


Correspondence All correspondence between you and the SSM
Pending Products are document images, profiles etc. which you have ordered but are not yet
ready, perhaps because payment has not yet been made

For Verified Users there may be additional items:

Draft Submissions. Submissions are the statutory forms which are lodged with the SSM.
Draft submissions are forms which have been partially completed but not yet submitted.

Ministerial Approval are Reserve Name or LLP Registration submissions which have been
submitted and are awaiting Ministerial Approval of the name
Returned Submissions are submitted forms which have been queried by the SSM and are
awaiting correction by the lodger
Submitted Submissions

Clicking on the to the right of each category will open up a list of the items.

Other grids list Correspondence, submissions awaiting Ministerial Approval and Queried (Returned)
Submissions. There is also a grid displaying News & Announcements regarding the SSM.

Profile is where you can edit your profile or log out.

Click Edit Profile

Here you can change your personal details, e.g. your address or password. However, if you change
your identity details you may need to attend an SSM office to be re-verified.

You can also access edit profile, or log out, from any page, by hovering your mouse over the
Welcome [Username] at the top right of the screen.

To the right of the home page there are widgets.

If you hover the mouse over them, their purpose will be displayed. Respectively, they expand the
screen, open help information for the page you are on, allow you to download a user manual and log
you out.

SUBMISSIONS

Only available to Verified Users. All submissions are listed here.

Click on each tab to see the various lists. There is a tab for each submission status:

Draft, not yet submitted


Pending Approval, submitted but awaiting approval by the SSM
Queried, submitted then returned to the lodger by SSM with a query
Rejected, submitted then rejected by SSM
Approved, submitted and approved by SSM

Clicking the to the right of the submission item will open the submission details.

MINISTERIAL APPROVAL

This is a list of submissions awaiting Ministerial approval.

MY LLPS

This is a list of the LLPs to which the logged in user is or was related.

Clicking the to the right of the LLP item will open the LLP details.

CHECK LLP NAME AVAILABILITY

This is where you can check if a name is available and acceptable.

Enter the name and click Search. The system will then check if there are any similar names or whether
the name contains words or characters that are not allowed or words that require Ministerial Approval
and will respond accordingly, including displaying a list of similar names and a score indicating how
similar. However, the final result will be determined by the SSM on examination of a Reserve Name
or LLP Registration submission.

From here you can also see the names you have previously reserved, which have not yet been used.
To register an LLP with the reserved name click the [Register Now] button.

3. WORKSPACE

OVERVIEW

The Workspace is another way to access orders and for Verified Users to access the lists of
submissions.

From here you can also access:

- Enforcement Action Complaints or, for Verified Users, Compounds


- Correspondence all communications between you and the SSM
- Watchlist A list of LLPs which you have added to your Watchlist in Buy Now

ENFORCEMENT ACTION

This is a list of all complaints and cases to which the logged in user is related.

There are tabs for Complaints, Compound Outstanding and Compound Paid.

To pay a compound click on the Compound Outstanding tab.

Click on the compound you wish to pay. You can multiple compounds at the same time. To select
several, click on each one, click again to de-select. When done, click [Make Payment]. You will be
directed to the Payments screen.

To Appeal a compound (again you can select several), click [Appeal].

Enter your message and [Submit].

CORRESPONDENCE

There are tabs for All, Cases (relating to complaints and Enforcement Actions) and Submission.

Clicking on the to the right will open the correspondence details.

WATCHLIST

A list of LLPs which you have added to your Watchlist in Buy Now.

4. COMPLAINT

LOG COMPLAINT

Any registered user can submit a complaint, in relation to LLP legislation, against a registered LLP or
an unregistered entity. Complete the Description and upload any relevant documents from the
Attachments page and Submit.

SUBMIT GENERAL CORRESPONDENCE

You may be requested by the SSM to submit correspondence, e.g. a Show Cause Letter in response to
a complaint about a LLP name. You can do this here.

Enter the case reference number, which you received in the email requesting the letter, and enter
the message. Depending on the subject you may be allowed or required to attach supporting
documents by clicking the attachments tab, clicking on the attachment type and click [Upload]. Click
[Submit] when done.

5. ADMINISTRATION

CUSTOMER PROFILE

This is where Customer details can be amended and additional users added.

When a User Enrolment has been approved, a Profile, consisting of a Customer and Customer User is
set up. The Customer Profile contains main details, name, address and contact details etc. The
Customer User profile contains log in details, personal details, such as identity, and privilege details,
i.e. what that user is allowed to access. On approval, a Customer User will be granted all privileges.

5.1.1 ADDITIONAL USERS

The Customer can add additional users, e.g. if they are a firm with employees who will using MyLLP.
The original Customer is the Administrator and can grant privileges to the added users, for example,
can allow to prepare submissions but not submit. These submissions would then be submitted by
more senior user who has the submit privilege.

By enrolling as a Customer then adding additional users within MyLLP, a group is set up with a main
user and sub-users whose profiles can be managed by the main user. In this scenario, the main user
can oversee all of the activity of the group.

To add a user go to Administration>Customer Profile

Click the Users tab

Click <Add>

Complete the Account Profile, Personal and Contact details, then select what types of access this user
should be allowed.

The options are:

Can View Account: this is a cash account held with the SSM and is only applicable to
Government Agency users
Can Change Account: cash account again
Admin: you will see that this is disabled and cannot be ticked as only the original customer
can have administration rights
Can Submit Submission: can complete and submit an e-form
Can Create Submission: can prepare a draft submission but cannot submit unless the
previous privilege is ticked
Active: should be ticked and can be unticked at a later date if, for example, the employee
leaves the firm

ACCOUNT DETAILS

Only Federal Government Users can maintain a cash account with the SSM. The account will be
created when the user enrols.

Money can be lodged to the account and payment for purchases can be made from that account.
Details of the account, including the balance and transactions, can be viewed here.

6. BUY NOW
This is where you can purchase information regarding LLPs.

Click Buy Now

For a list of available Submissions, Certificates and Reports, enter the LLP number in the Search field.
Find the required document and click Add to Basket.

You can purchase a certified copy of a submission or certificate by ticking the box. There is an
additional fee for a certified copy and it cannot be delivered electronically. At checkout you will be
asked to choose a delivery method, Over the Counter (OTC) at a SSM branch, fax or post. There is an
additional charge for an OTC collection.

Except for certified copies, all purchases will generally be available to download from your
Workspace within minutes of completing checkout. They will only be available for a limited duration,
which can be seen by hovering over the download icon .

You can purchase Bulk Statistical Information. On clicking Search, a dialogue box will open where you
can enter filter criteria for the data you require.

When <Search> is clicked, the system searches for records which match the criteria entered and
returns a count at the bottom left of the screen. The report will be delivered as a compressed (.zip)
file with a number of Excel files within it.

A Verified User can request a Personal Involvement Report for yourself or a third party. The Third
Party will be notified automatically of any requests.

A Current or Current and Historical profile of an LLP can be purchased. The Current profile can be a
full report or only selected details. The fee is calculated based on the number of details requested.

You can create a Watchlist of LLPs. The watch will be for a selected duration and during this time you
will be notified of any activity regarding those LLPs.

When you have finished selecting the items you wish to purchase, click the Shopping Basket and
<Checkout>.

The e-mail address for delivery will default to the logged in user. If required, it can be changed to
another address.

Click <Pay & Submit> and complete your payment. A receipt will be available for download.

When full payment has been made, your orders will be available to view in your Workspace or from
the Dashboard.

7. PAYMENT
There is a fee for the majority of submissions and for purchasing LLP information. On completion of
either, a payment page will be displayed.

Federal Government users can pay by account. Others will pay, at the time, by credit/debit card

or pay later. If pay later is chosen, an invoice will be created and the following methods of payment
are available:

M2U Maybank2U online banking


FPX EFT processing via participating banks with MyClear

When such a payment is received, it will be allocated to any outstanding invoices. Submissions will
not be approved and no orders will be delivered until payment has been made in full.

If credit card is chosen you will be directed to the credit card payment facility.

On successful payment a receipt page will be displayed.

From here you can download a Receipt/Tax Invoice.

At the bottom right of the page there is a barcode which is unique to this invoice.
