required to be
assigned to the

The MPN profile (user defined) allows you to control
MPN processes:
eg:
1. If Order Text from the MPN material number will
be used in copy-control to the Purchasing
Document.
2. Using MPN in External Purchasing Document is
mandatory.
3. the MPN can be change in the Purchase Order
(to change to different manufacturer or vendor)
4. Instead of Internal Material PIR, system will look
for MPNs PIR.
