Team Contract
Thursday 19th January
This team contract outlines and establishes the proposed guidelines and agreements for completing the
Smart Cities Project by Monday 1st May 2017
Meetings:
The team will meet at least once per week within the initial stages of the project (this can be increased
as we approach closer to the end of the semester) to collectively work on the agreed-upon tasks as
defined in the Gantt chart. Meeting details such as timings and locations will be decided through the
English 210 WhatsApp group and the university emails when necessary. Team members who may not
be able to attend any of the meetings will have to notify the other team members in advance for clarity
in order for the rest of the members to divide the work appropriately.
Workload:
We agree to commit to an idea everyone shares an interest in
We agree to allocate the tasks evenly and appropriately to each team member
We agree to issue the responsibilities according to each members strengths and weaknesses in
addition to the numbers of hours spent and the difficulty of the tasks
We agree to help one another when one is having difficulty improving a piece of work
We agree to abide by the deadlines proposed by the team during the meetings unless
encountered with more important events such as midterms
Conflict Resolution:
We agree to work as a team and resolve any disputes when encountered by talking about it
amongst one another. When conflicts arise over these issues, we agree to meet with the
professor whom will act as a mediator.
We agree to set deadlines amongst the team before the deadline proposed by the professor
We agree to abide by the Gantt chart and notify members in advance when you arent able to
finish a certain task
