General info and campus live

1. The major I will pursue at UNCC is Marketing in their business program. Yes it
is accredited.
2. Three major benefits for attending this university include its respected
business school called the Belk college of business, It has a large student
population which creates many avenues to get involved, and its connection to
uptown Charlotte (largest city in NC.)
3. Although UNCC is known to be a commuter school, many new student
housing building have gone up through the years and more and more
students are living on campus. Transfer students can live on campus also.
4. The demographic breakdown of UNCC is pretty diverse. Students from all
types of backgrounds attend which creates a variety of views and opinions.
5. UNCC maintains strong connections to major corporations based in uptown
Charlotte. The career center located next to the library offers various ways to
get in touch with these companies for internships.

Admissions Requirements

1. Non refundable $60 application fee.


2. UNCC has a specific application not the common one.
3. High school transcript and other post high school education transcript is
required.
4. No recommendation letters required but when I first applied I submitted a few
and I think they helped.
5. No essay required but I sent one in.
6. No interview required.

Deadlines are not binding. Applications complete after February 1st will be reviewed
after April 1 on a rolling basis (decisions will be made in the order that the completed
applications are received).
8. Minimum 2.0 cum gpa for college students. Mid 3s competitive.
9. Additional requirements for major include a minimum 3.0 and a B or higher in
pre requisite classes.

Admissions research part 3

1. Questions I still have include how many classes will I need to take once in my
major to graduate.
2. Within the next 3-6 months I need to make sure I continue to get As and Bs in
my classes and learn more about the re application process.
