3. DIMENSIONS, PERFORMANCE AND GUARANTEES
3
The amount of electrical power producible must be calculated on the basis of rad
iometric data cited in the standard UNI 10349 and assuming, as average annual pl
ant operating efficiency, 75% nominal efficiency of the photovoltaic generator.
The nominal efficiency of the photovoltaic generator is given numerically, in pr
actice, the ratio of the rated generator (in kW) and its surface (in m² and unde
rstanding coma sum of the surface of the modules). If the conditions and use of
the photovoltaic plant is such that it can be transferred to network a power gre
ater than that committed by contract of sale, you will need to adjust the forwar
d power committed. Moreover, the system must be designed to:
• •
DC power hand over 85% of rated output of the photovoltaic generator, referring
to the specific irradiation conditions, active power, side AC greater than 90% o
f the side DC power (efficiency of the conversion);
and, therefore, an active power, AC side, more than 75% of rated output of the p
hotovoltaic system, referring to the particular irradiation conditions. The enti
re system must have a guarantee of at least two years to date from testing of th
e facility, while the PV modules must have a guarantee of at least 12 years. 4.
FEATURES The photovoltaic generator of the plant must be obtained by connecting
in parallel an appropriate number of strings. Each string, cut and fitted with b
locking diode must be formed by a series of individual photovoltaic modules. Eac
h module must be equipped with bypass diodes. The parallel strings must be provi
ded with overvoltage protection and a suitable switch for connection to the grou
p of conversion. Particular attention should be paid to the design and construct
ion of electrical panel containing these components, this addition to comply wit
h existing rules, must have a degree of protection appropriate to the environmen
tal characteristics of its installation site. The photovoltaic generator should
preferably be managed as IT system, ie no pole connected to ground.€The group of
conversion must be fit for the transfer of power from the photovoltaic generato
r to the network, regulatory compliance and technical safety standards. The valu
es of voltage and input current of the conversion must be compatible with those
of the photovoltaic generator, while the values of voltage and frequency output
must be compatible with the network which is connected to the system. The group
conversion should preferably be based on forced commutated inverter via PWM, mus
t be free of clock and / or internal reference, and should be able to operate fu
lly automatically and to track the maximum power point (MPPT) the photovoltaic g
enerator. Technical solutions than those suggested (and for the management of th
e photovoltaic generator for the group of conversion) shall be adopted, subject
to compliance with existing rules. The interface device, which act on the protec
tions as provided by that CEI 11-20, will normally be integrated into the conver
sion group. Those protections, however, must be accompanied by certification iss
ued by a 4
accredited. The connection of the conversion to the electricity grid must be dow
nstream of the overall network user. The system must also be equipped with a dev
ice that displays (preferably with an electromechanical device) the amount of en
ergy produced (cumulative) from the facility and their operating hours. For safe
ty, if the network user or part of it is deemed unfit to bear the greater intens
ity of current available (due to the contribution of the photovoltaic), the netw
ork or part of it should be appropriately protected. 5. CHECK Technical-function
al technical and functional verification is to verify the installation:
• • • •

electrical continuity and connections between modules, the grounding of the mass
es and unloaders, isolation of circuits from the masses and the proper functioni
ng of the photovoltaic power generated in different conditions and in the manner
provided by the group of conversion ( ON, OFF, power failure, etc.). the condit
ion: CCP> Phnom 0.85 * * I / ISTC, where:
o o o o
CCP is the DC power (kW) measured at the output of the photovoltaic generator, w
ith accuracy better than ± 2%; Phnom is the nominal power (kW) solar generator,
I is the irradiance (W / m² ) measured in terms of modules, with accuracy better
than ± 3%; ISTC, of 1000 W / m², is the radiation level at standard test condit
ions;

condition: Pca> 0.9 * CCP, where: Pca is the active power AC (kW) measured at th
e output of the conversion of the current generated by PV modules into alternati
ng current, with accuracy better than 2% ; the condition: Pca> 0.75 * * The Phno
m / ISTC.
The above checks should be made, work has been completed, the installer of the s
ystem, which must be in possession of all the requirements of laws, and shall is
sue a declaration (using the form attached), signed and signed all over, showing
the results of testing and the date on which the above were made. 6. Documents
must be issued and issued by the installer, the following documents:
• • • • •
operating and maintenance, inclusive of the recommended schedule of maintenance
operations, project executive version "as built", accompanied by sheets of mater
ial installed; statement audits conducted and its outcome; declaration of compli
ance under the law 46 / 90, article 1, letter a, guarantee certificates for the
equipment installed. 5
