Contents
The second page is the table of contents, in which all the main headings are ind
icated by page number. For larger operations can follow a list of illustrations
and a list of tables. It is best to work with in Word format templates. It recei
ves each heading an appropriate style. This has the advantage that the formattin
g is consistent and you can can create the index automatically:

After the actual content of the work follows an indication of the sources: the b
ibliography. Why this is accompanied, below ("Dealing with Sources" Read over
this section carefully!). For the identification of the sources are some rules t
hat are easy to follow. If one cites a book that makes you the following informa
tion: author (year): Title. Location of publisher: Publisher. Altmann, Andreas (
2003): Emergency brake not move too soon! By train in India. Stuttgart: Klett. I
n an article from a magazine, it looks similar, if not quite equal to this: Auth
or: "Title of article", journal title, issue, page numbers. Hans Hass: "The anim
als in the Indian rainforest", National Geographic, 12/2006, p. 25-32. With a we
bsite the following information is required: author (if identified): "Title of t
he page, date of access, detailed web address (URL) If you want to take it very
well should be on the font variants (straight or italic) and punctuation (points
, commas, quotation marks eighth, etc.). Klug, Christina: "Child Labour in India

The lecture
Keep the talk freely. Write down but important information on index cards. (Inde
x label on one side only, and numbered so that you keep track.) Look at your aud
ience when speaking and not the projection of the projector or the overhead proj
ector. Keep important information for the listeners writing notes (eg, hand-out,
table)
Organization
Question at least two days before the presentation to the slides and other techn
ical requirements that you need (projector, etc.). If you have material to copy,
€you should submit this to the teacher at least two days in advance so that we m
ay still be able to correct errors and no delays due to "Jam the Copier" result.
If you make a presentation using PowerPoint or a similar program, it is particu
larly important to try out your presentation in advance on the Vorführcomputer.
Different versions are not always compatible with each other, which may mean tha
t your presentation does not work.

The handling of sources
No one can write a work, without access to texts and ideas from other back. Resp
ect for the intellectual property of others requires that you specify what ideas
you have where. Adorn themselves with borrowed plumes, called the "idea theft"
and is called "plagiarism", which means that performance can be judged as inadeq
uate. In general a one to one by Fußnote1 in the rolling text, where you have th
e relevant information. They used drawing as much as possible their own wording.
Only when a formulation in the original is very well managed, they may be copie
d verbatim. Then you have it, but characterize as direct quote. Do the following
:
Correct - quote an example
Original Text
CHILD LABOUR IN INDIA
By Christina Klug child labor in India is not a taboo subject. Almost daily, rep
orts the Indian press about the extent of economic exploitation of children. The
list of offenses against the official ban on child labor, as it was in the Chil
d Labour Prohibition and Regulation Act of 1986 enshrined is long. The law is at
best half-heartedly enforced.
Quotation in the JRC / Skilled Christina Klug said: "Child labor in India is not
a taboo subject. 2" or "child labor in India is not a taboo subject" 2, said Ch
ristina Klug. or complaining that "the law [banning child labor] 3 half-heartedl
y enforced only" 4.
