Breathe with your diaphragm instead of the chest. Only u se power when you finish each stroke, blocking, kicking, etc. Thanks to his trai ning and experience in basic techniques are the Taekwondo masters of the past ex ercises devised formal and archetypal patterns of combat practice. Its aim was t o provide a means of training to its students and to enable them carry out the b asic techniques in a continuous succession, so they were able to defend against more than one opponent in any direction, so as long as necessary without get tir ed. The practice of formal exercises to achieve balance, accuracy, concentration , coordination and endurance. These elements are essential for the implementatio n of Taekwodo, so the formal exercises are the foundation of art. Therefore it i s said that no forms no Taekwondo. Kicho: basic shapes The initial forms that make the beginner will be called Kicho. The Kicho consist of basic movements, which are characterized by their simplicity. The Taekwondo learn with the early hours of training these movements achieved only with practi ce Kicho developing very smoothly. The basis of the Kicho are the basic movement s, such as fenders (high and low, outdoor and indoor), basic strokes and at vari ous positions such as the ap kubi (forward position) and the tip kubi (lateral p osition). The Taekwondo must achieve absolute control over these forms, since as mentioned earlier, are the basis for advanced forms, as are the Palgwes, taeguk s and poomses. These basic shapes, will help the practitioner of Taekwondo, so t hat the following motions shall be provided, as the practitioner will begin to u nderstand their training and for what purpose is being conducted. The meaning wi th these forms, is to teach Taekwondo to make a fight against multiple opponents , because these forms are actually fighting 28 simulated positions because of this, blockades, kicking, etc. must be made with great force, as this will ensure the Taekwondo to victory if he were in actual c ombat. Right foot steps in front stance, l eft elbow strike, left backfist strike to level the nose, right half punch BLACK BELT FORMS Koryo (Korea): Koryo is the name of an ancient dynasty in the Korean peninsula. The country's name "Korea" comes from the name of the dynasty "Koryo" which is distinguished by the brave spirit of the people who stopped the assault mongolica. Poomsae "Koryo" is based on the spirit of Sonbae (Sonbi) that was in herited from Koruryo to Balhae and Koryo. Songae means strong martial art and ho nest spirit experts. Kumgang: The word "Kumgang" originally meant strong there to be broken. Also in Buddhism, those who break the mental agony to the combination of wisdom and virt ue is called "Kumgang". Poomsae "Kumgang" is named after Mount Kumgang, symbol o f solidity. "Kumgang" is also analogous of "diamond." TAEBEK "Taebek" is the ancient name of Mount Paekdu where the legendary Tangun f ounded a nation for the first time in the Korean peninsula 4.329 years ago on sc hedule Tangun (1996 Tangun DC = 4329 years). Poomsae "Taebek" takes its principl es of evolution of the word "Taeback" which means being who is respected as a Sa cred . PYONGWON "Pyongwon" meaning "large plains." The plain is a source of sustenance of human life and, moreover, a great plain that stretches endlessly gives us a s ense of majesty that is different from that we feel with a mountain or the sea. An application for extension of a Down is one that is blessed with abundance and the infinite grace and vastu in the practice of Taekwondo Poomse Pyongwon which is the (plain). SHIPJIN: Shipjin means 'decimal system' that exists as a symbolic figure of 10 i nfinite meanings develop and grow in a systematic order. In the Poomse Shipjin, stability is seen in every change of movement. JITA: According to Oriental belief, all living things come from the earth and re turn to it (Jitae is derived from the meaning of the earth). The land is then th e origin and termination of life. Living things and natural phenomena are part o f the land. Poomsae "Jitae" is the movement that provides these features to the land. CHUNKWON "Chunkwon" means the sky. Since ancient times the Orientals have believ ed and worshiped the sky as ruler of the universe and human beings. The infinite sky vastu can be a mysterious and profound world of imagination in the eyes of countless human beings. Chunkwon Poomsae consists of movements full of vitality. HANSOO: Poomsae "Hansoo" derives from the word 'water' is typical of its fluidit y and adaptability which is as manifest in water nature. Ilyë "ilyë" means integridad.En Buddhism the state of spiritual cultivation is c alled "ilyë" (integrity), in which body and mind, I (subject) and you (object), spirit and substance are united into one . The ultimate ideal of Taekwondo lies in this state of ilyë. The ultimate goal of Taekwondo pursues a discipline in wh ich we concentrate our attention at all times, eliminating any thoughts without clarity and obsessions.
