HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO

ME!
Today I celebrate ME! The birth of Me! The person I have grown to
be! The person I will become! The daughter, sister, auntie, niece,
friend, and employee I am!.. I am grateful to God for the gift of
life. I am also thankful to my parents for nurturing me into the
person I am todayHAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! I wish myself many
more years of joy, love, laughter, health and prosperity. I wish
myself strength and wisdom for days to come and success with
everything I do today, and tomorrow!..Heres a drink to ME!
Thank You for preserving my Life to see this day and all the wonders You've done in my Life.
I thank you God, for making me see another year; thanks for the gift of life; I'm eternally grateful
for all the blessings that you have given me that makes me appreciate a good life, for the
struggles you casted on me which made me stronger and helped me realized the ideas of life's
bitter sweet reality and most of all for the love which is supported by guidance and protection
which YOU unconditionally gives through my ever beloved family and friends.

Thank you for all the experience of this past year; for times of success which will always be
happy memories, for times of failure which reminded me of my own weakness and of my need
for you, for times of joy when the sun was shining, for times of sadness which drove me to you.

Forgive me for the hours I wasted, for the chances I failed to take, for the opportunities I missed.
Help me in the days ahead to make this the best year yet, and through it to bring good credit to
myself and happiness and pride to my loved ones, and joy to ME.

May my life, from now on, be a sign of my gratefulness. Thank you for guiding me, for
commanding every direction that I take in my life. I also want to thank you for bringing in and
taking out all whom you felt needed to come through my life, because everyone has a season. I
want to thank you for all that you have done and all that you continue to do for me, You brought
love, hope and great changes into my life. You wrap me and all that is me in your hands, love,
protection and provided in every way that is possible and beyond.
For all that You gave me in the past years. Thank You for the sunshiny days and for the sad and
cloudy ones; for the calm afternoons and the dark nights; for the love and for all beautiful and
sweet things; for the flowers and the stars. Thank You for health and sickness, for sorrows and
joys. Thank You for all that You gave me and all that You asked of me. Thank You Lord, for Your
smiling face and friendly hand that kept me strong. Thank You for the loneliness, for the work,
for the worries, for the fears, for the difficulties and the tears; and for everything that brought me
closer to You.

Thank You for preserving my Life to see this day and all the wonders You've done in my Life.
Thank You for having kept me alive, for having given me shelter, warmth and nourishment.
Thank you, Lord, for having given me friends and dear ones. I thank You God for giving me
Good Health and the Bounteous Blessings You continues to Shower on Me. Who am I without
You God! Clay Molded Statue Breathes into! A mere Sculptural work in Your Hand!

Thank You Lord, for all the kindness You have shown me. Thank You, Father, for Your great love
in giving me my life, for Your great patience in preserving me despite my sinfulness, for Your
protection in the past and for the opportunity to serve and honor You in the future. Thank You
Lord, for keeping me numberless times from sin and death by the toils of Your life, the sufferings
of Your Passion, and by Your victorious resurrection. Thank You, Holy Spirit of God, for
bestowing so many graces upon my soul and for having so frequently renewed Your life within
me.

May my life, from now on, be a sign of my gratefulness. Thank you for guiding me, for
commanding every direction that I take in my life. I also want to thank you for bringing in and
taking out all whom you felt needed to come through my life, because everyone has a season. I
want to thank you for all that you have done and all that you continue to do for me, You brought

God all I can say is thank you so much for blessing me indeed, without you I am nothing but
with you I have everything I'll ever need. I love you lord father God, THANK YOU. Lord, I pray
You make me a better person as I continue to add more years on this terrestrial earth; I ask You
for faith to see You in everything and everybody; hope, that I may not dismay; and charity to
love You and others more each day; and to let You be loved among those around me.
Strengthen and provide for me so that I'll be able to give more to the needy. There are many in
this world that have never had, or have lost a physical or mental gift that I so easily take for
granted.

The blind, the deaf, the mute, the lame and the mentally ill are with us. Grant that I may always
know that I must give of myself to ease their trials and burdens. May I always remember their
needs and be just and generous to them. Give me patience and humility, detachment and
generosity; give me Lord what is good for me which You alone know, for I do not know what is
good for me I do not dare to ask. That my heart may be alert, my ears be attentive, my hands
and mind active, and that I always may be ready to do Your Holy Will with Your grace. Lord!
Pour out Your grace and blessings upon all me, my beloved ones.
Years spent so far in this world have been so amazing in my life. I've smiled, I've laughed, I've
screamed, I've cried, I've been down, I've been up and above all I'm grateful to God almighty .
He deserves nothing but praise, praise and continuous praise. I'm more than happy for the
blessings, mercies and favours he's bestowed on me and my family over the years. He might
not have given me all that I wanted, but at least He sent all that I needed, and that what matters
most to me now. I've been and will continue to share my joy with those who are less fortunate
and share my happiness with those who need encouragement, share my laughter with those
who have not heard any in such a long time, share my tears with those who have forgotten how
to cry, share my faith and hope to those who have none.

I thank God for giving Me another Year to be Productive and Proactive, to share my life and be a
blessing to other people. It's another year to dream, to live, to enjoy, to share, to celebrate, and
to execute whatever left unexecuted in my Life. I pray that you always guide Me and help Me be
better person every day in other to be more Focused in Life and be more Dedicated into the
Struggle I am involved in, to continue to Fight for that what I believe; to die for the Ideal that will
Live and not to Live for an Ideal that will Die. May You be my Guide as I continue to Crave for a
Virile Nigerian Students' Unionism, Revolutionized Nigeria and Africa as a whole, which Her
children will be Boastful of.

Thanks to all my friends; to the friends who are always there for me, understand me and remain
with me despite my strong-headedness, I say thank you! Thanks to those who turned their back,
for you have helped in valuing more those who are with me, and aid new spaces for new good
friends. I'm getting older and getting wiser as well; I have learnt a lot from many people
fortunate to come across! With much sincerity and happiness I would like to thank everyone for
the Birthday Wishes and Blessings, from Friends and Family; Far and Near. My Heartfelt
Gratitude goes to all who posted on my Facebook Wall, Messaged Me, Sent Me Mails, Pinged
Me, Used My Pictures as Display Picture on BBM; Created a Blackberry Broadcast, Personal
Messages, Called or Text to Wish Me a Happy Birthday. I would have loved to give reply to each
message, especially on Facebook personally, but many things have become a luxury when you
are on a special day; my joy doubled when I saw your wishes on my wall. That is why I write this
note instead.

Thanks to my departmental mates for the severe beating I was given and staining of my well-
starched and well-ironed white Shirtit shows how accepted I am to you all, I cannot but thank
you all. Thank You so much for making my Birthday even more Special with all Your Wonderful
Wishes. It is very overwhelming and touching to know people remembered and took even a little
time and effort to greet me. I'm appropriately flattered and edified at the number of good wishes
that came my way via the various online services we now enjoy; I'm overwhelmed by the over
pouring of love from around the World. Thanks to the World Wide Web for making remembering
people's birthday and sending a greeting much easier; it is really true that internet makes the
world a much cozier, closer and smaller place.

Thank you so much for making my day with your adorable wishes. You are truly an amazing;
there is nothing good like being remembered on ones' big day. Each wish really meant a lot to
me and absolutely made my day; it will keep me strong and passionate and courageous and
even loving myself. Thanks to all the people who have helped me build my personality, I'm what
I am because of you! Thank You for making Me feel absolutely loved and important! I'm not the
measure of what I have done but more of who I am and those who I have surrounded myself
with, which you are all.

Thanks to those who have motivated Me and pushed Me to Greater Heights. All of You have
been a Source of Inspiration to Me in one way or the other. I've never (and might never)
physically meet most of You; but We're "Connected' on 'Social Networking Sites' and We seem
to Share the same Yearning and Desire for a REVOLUTIONIZED Nation 'NIGERIA' & Continent
'AFRICA' and based on this Kindred Yearning and Desire, We have become "ONE FAMILY"
bound Together by Common Purpose irrespective of our Tribe or Religious Affiliations.

Your Goodwill messages have made me subscribed to the Yoruba adage that says 'Eniyan laso
iyi eni'. Your Outpouring of Goodwill from far and near has once again convinced Me that
Nigerians (Africans) are indeed "GOOD PEOPLE" and Earnestly Desire & Deserve a "GREAT
NATION" where the good things of live is not a Luxury but a given part of Daily Life. I am
