Chapter 1

Scope of Work

To promote the views of students through discussion about issues rose by students
and staff which affect the life of the school both in the present and in the future.
To give students an opportunity to understand and participate in an independent
process.
To give students a real say in how they learn and achieve.
To promote the universitys reputation and to maintain the school ethos.
To undertake projects that will improve the quality of the school.
To encourage students to understand the negotiation of the rights and responsibili-
ties of citizenship in everyday life.

ABOUT BUSINESS STUDENT

CLUB (BSC)

2.1 ABOUT US
The Business Student Club (BSC) of Stamford University Bangladesh is established
and journey to start in November 07, 2016. The Business Student Club (BSC) is a global
network of current and former students from undergraduate business program and to pro-
vide business students working in Bangladesh and global network with useful resources
for their research and builds networks between students from different universities, dif-
ferent countries and different academic disciplines.

2.2 PURPOSE
Our purpose is to inspire vision, create understanding and facilitate change in graduate
management education, new business conference, organize new business plan and case
competition (different universities and inter university), organize training program, pro-
fessional career development program for students, business and society.

2.3 GOALS
1. Academic: To further the learning of undergraduate business program and the appli-
cation of skills in the professional world while using the promotion and its events as a
real-life job experience.
2. Social: To provide an outlet for like-minded individuals in the Business Student Club
(BSC) to get together, network for preparation of professional careers, and share their
personal experiences.
3. Professional Development: To meet and network with professionals in the different
industry and learn about different areas of business in which they can contribute.

The aims of the Business Student Club (BSC) are:
