Dear Seventh Grade Parents or Guardians,

As most of you are aware, your child is involved in project-based learning this year. Our students
are very excited to exhibit their work. Their projects, which they have been working on in many
of their curricular areas, will be presented the evening of Monday, December 12 th from 6:00pm -
7:30pm at Bettendorf Middle School. Students are separated into two groups, which you
can find attached to this letter. Their attendance and participation at their designated
session is required as part of our project-based program. Your student will present in
one of the following locations: F Hall, F2, F3, F4, F6, or F8. You can find their location
next to their name on the attached list. Students need to be in their location five
minutes before their session. 7H5 students have set up a museum which highlights their
findings and knowledge about paranormal research and haunted Quad City Locations. We hope
that you will tour all the rooms listed to learn about this exciting subject.

Students have invested a great deal of time and effort into their work, which will be on display.
Their attire for the evening needs to reflect the importance of this event and pride in their work:

Female students need to wear a dress, skirt, or dress pants and a nice shirt.
Male students need to wear dress pants and a collared shirt.
No student should wear jeans or athletic wear.
If obtaining this attire is a problem, please contact any seventh grade teacher or
counselor, and arrangements can be made to help.

We look forward to seeing you at our Grade Level Night, Monday, December 12th. Thank
you for supporting your childs education.

Sincerely,

Seventh Grade Teachers and BMS Administrators
