As I was researching the TOC application process for district 70, I discovered that TOC's

willing to teach in Ucluelet and Tofino are encouraged to apply. I am willing and eager to TOC in

Ucluelet and Tofino, as I call these communities home and I'm looking forward to establishing

myself as a contributing resident of this area.

My partner also resides in Tofino and is an active community member, employed by the

Raincoast Educational Society, and a volunteer in several community organizations such as Tofino

Search and Rescue.

It is my goal to live, work, raise a family, and positively contribute to the communities of

Ucluelet and Tofino. If I'm given the opportunity to become an educator within the community, I will

actively work towards contributing to the beauty of such a uniquely wonderful area.

I also believe it is noteworthy to declare my willingness to commute from Tofino to Port

Alberni when need arises. The commute offers the opportunity to habituate reflection, mental

preparation, and appreciation for the surrounding natural beauty.
