Where do your clothes come from? You may say "Well that's easy my clothes come from JC Pennies." If so, your right,
but also wrong. JC Pennies sells the clothes, but they are made in places like China, Vietnam, Kenya, etc. Some of these places you have
proudly never heard of. My clothes come from sixteen different places. This is because country's big and small want the benefits of
manufacturing clothes is their economy and want to profit off of it. I went through fifty shirts and pants to see where they were made.
China seems to have the most dominant manufacturing country, based on where I get my clothing. Of the fifty clothing items, China
made thirty six percent. China is a big country, they are if not the top one of the biggest manufacturing country thanks to the big
population and vast resources, along with effort and labor. Different country's have different industrial laws that effect the workers
safety and requirements. These effect the production of products in quality and quantity. Wage and labor laws are going to effect the
number of people working. This ultimately results in how much products can be made. Our clothes come from all over. Although U.S
manufacturing seems to have disappeared, I only had one old shirt made the U.S. Our economy is definitely not running on
manufacturing.
