Main goal is to learn how to approximately

solve mathematical models numerically (using
measured data), instead of solving them
theoretically or exactly. Why? because
sometimes the exact solution does not exist or
is hard to solve.

digital computers;
Design analysis of numerical algorithms;
Techniques for analyzing computational complexity
and errors;
Solutions of equations;
Method of successive approximation;
Complex roots;
Simultaneous linear equations;
Iterative methods of solutions and convergence; etc.
