Dear Sir/Madam,
Letter of Reference for: Ms. Ashley Leitschuh
Itis with great privilege, that I write this letter on behalf of Ms. Ashley Leitschuh. Ashley has been a
student teacher on our campus for the 2016 ~ 2017 school year. Her time was shared between 3° grade
and kindergarten.
Ashley has been a blessing to our third grade classroom. During the first half of the year, Ashley came to
third grade part time and focused on observations. Ashley's demeanor, lead her to inquire how she
could play more of an active role in our classroom. She spent time circulating the classroom and helping,
students as needed. She often asked questions on how to handle different situations. During the
second half of the year, Ashley gradually took over the classroom. She began by teaching our science
lessons, spelling and conducted our read-aloud time. As her time in third grade progressed, she added
‘math and ELA. During ELA and Math, she would not only assist in delivering the lesson, but would pull
small groups. Ashely participated in team planning, campus professional development and district wide
professional development.
‘As Ashley's mentor, | had the opportunity to work with her closely. | am very honored to recommend
Ashley to be a part of this teaching experience. Ashley is positive and always seeking out ways to
improve her craft. She does not only love the students, but she equally loves being around adults.
Ashley works well as a teammate. Ashley's positive and enthusiastic attitude will be an asset in Korea. |
strongly believe she will be an excellent teacher of English and will adapt well to life in a new country.
If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate in contacting me.
Best regards,
