good Evening/ ladies and gentle man.

I am extremely honoured to have the chance to address you in this prestigious moment
when our institution Benedict matriculation higher secondary School celebrates its 23rd
Annual Day today. This is so precious moment for us because aside from the fact this
function underlines our schools successful back-to-back 23 years in its realm of imparting
education, this dias is also going to witness the showcasing of talents of the young-buds of
this school and the prize giving ceremony to the best students in various spheres.

It is always a pleasure to be able to address young minds. Children are our tomorrow - our
future. Bright faces that I see here today receiving prizes and evincing their talents will be
the citizens of tomorrow. They may tomorrow grow up to be Einsteins, Rabindra Naths,
Gandhis, Abdul Kalams etc.. and etc... or they may just turn out to be a burden on the
society, stragglers in the race of life waiting for someone to give them a job. What our
children are going to be in future is what we make of them. The talents they demonstrate
here are the proof that they have the potentiality to be the useful citizens of the future.

The duty which is conferred up on me here is to welcome everyone to this grand celebration.
Our chief guest this year, is such a ______________________ who doesnt need a formal
introduction at all. _____________________________________. I consider it is not only my
privilege but the honour for our entire school to host him as a dignitary and the inaugurator
of our priceless function today. I cordially welcome ____________________ to the
celebration.

Next, I would like to welcome our Guest speaker today ______________ I proudly
welcome you onto the function.

The next one I would like to welcome to this function is our correspondent sir amd madam
the founder and patron, and the lifeblood of our school who has been standing behing us
and supporting us always. I bide a hearty welcome to Mr. Selva Manoharan and Mrs.
Thilaga terency to the ceremony. Dearest Sir and madam, I welcome you in my humble
words to this most prestigious programme.

Next in the list to welcome is the backbone of this school, the most beloved and respected
principal along with all teaching staffs Dearest maam and sirs, Please accept my welcome
to the celebration.

Again, I would like to welcome all the dearest parents who have constantly extended their
love and support to all the high prospects of this school and to each one of its faculty.

And last, but not the least, I would like to welcome all the teachers and students, who are the
part and parcel of this institution in my modest words. I hope and request your begin
cooperation throughout this programme for its grand success.

On behalf of the school management, I ________________ being the head boy or, the
head girl, would like to propose the vote of thanks to each and everyone who have
contributed for the overwhelming success of todays program.

I should first thank the chief guest_________________, who in spite of his busy schedule,
accepted our invitation and has came here to this program.

I extend grateful thanks to our guests of honor, ___________________ for making it

convenient to attend our program.

My grateful thanks are directed to all the distinguished guests, representing various
prestigious institutions, Brothers and Sisters who added glamour to our program with their
presence.

I also extend my sincere thanks to all the parents for their excellent co-operation. We shall
remember their contribution in allowing and encouraging their wards to participate in this
program and making it a success.

I owe my heartfelt thanks to the organizers of this program-_____________________, who

have planned this program with meticulous care and made selfless effort to make it a unique
one.

Any program cannot achieve success without imparting sufficient training to the students.
The wonderful songs and colorful items of our show reveal as to how much our beloved
teachers have put in their tireless efforts, day and night in imparting perfect training to the
students. I extend my special thanks to _________________, for training our students with
lot of patience.

My thanks also go to the members of the print and the electronic media who have always co-
operated to attend our programs to give wider coverage.

The appropriate lighting, sound and music system provided by the______ company has
richly enhanced the grandeur of the show and I thank them sincerely.

I shall be failing in my duty if I dont express my gratitude to our principal and all those
supporting staff who contributed their share to the success of todays program.

Before I conclude, I thank our correspondent sir and madam for his expert and able
guidance. It is needless to say that todays program would not have been such a grand
success without continuous supervision and monitoring of him.

I once again thank every one for their co-operation in making todays show a grand success.
Last but not least we thank you all our dear audience, on behalf of the management and the
entire teaching and non teaching faculty along with the school kids for cheering us. No i
would like to request everyone present here to stand up for the National anthem.
