The Threshold Receives $1,000 AT&T Award to Support its

Job Training Programs for People with Disabilities
WEST BEND, Thursday, March 9, 2017 The Threshold Incorporated received a $1,000 AT&T Innovation
Award today to support its educational and job training programs for people who have disabilities in Washington
County.

The AT&T funding will support the non-profits School-to-Work and Life Skills programs by providing needed
educational tools to help the people they serve learn valuable work skills. For over 50 years, The Threshold has
been committed to providing meaningful service options that meet individual needs and promote independence,
employability and inclusion within the community.

Our mission is creating opportunities for people with disabilities so that every person in our community has the
opportunities, choices and support to live a fulfilling life, said John Bloor, Executive Director of The
Threshold. We are very grateful to receive this AT&T donation to support our educational programs, which will
help the people we serve succeed.

The School-to-Work program is a transitional program in partnership with Washington County school districts that
helps high school seniors successfully move from school into the workforce. Education, testing and temporary
work experiences are part of the program.

We are proud to support The Threshold and their work to help those with disabilities lead productive,
independent lives, said Scott T. VanderSanden, president of AT&T Wisconsin. As a company, AT&T is
committed to supporting educational programs that help all of our residents have successful futures.

I applaud The Threshold for their ongoing work in the community with those families and individuals affected by
disabilities, said State Representative Bob Gannon. Their programs are critical to helping those with disabilities
have the opportunities they deserve to reach their potential and become an integral part of the community.
