Assessment
Students will be assessed as they move through the obstacle course while dribbling
the soccer ball. The students will be assessed based on demonstration. Students are
will dribble using both feet, use inside and outside of feet, and keeping the ball
close to keep control. Passing is another skill which will be demonstrated by the
students for assessment. Students will demonstrate good passing to a teammate.
Passes will be made by using the side of foot with control. The third skill which will
be demonstrated and assessed is shooting. Students will shoot the soccer ball into
the goal. Shooting skills which will be demonstrated by students are the non-kicking
foot will be planted towards the target (goal), the inside of the foot will be used to
kick the ball, and good follow through will be demonstrated. Students will make 3
consecutive goals. Dribbling and passing will be demonstrated on obstacle course 1
and shooting will be demonstrated on obstacle course 2.
