To be
1. El verbo to be se usa:
She is singing,
y en pasiva.
The bread is eaten by the dog.
They are going to play football.
2. Usamos el be...
We are being very careful.
She is being very stupid.
I am happy.
You are angry.
He is furious.
We are ill.
They are cold.
To have
Shall
Shall I open the window for you?
Shall we go to the beach, boys?
* What shall we do?
Should
Will
Would
Used to
Need
Dare
1. Dos form as
Should (deberias..)
7. Para el pasado usamos should have para decir que alguien hizo
algo mal. (deben'as haber...)
You didn't come to the party... You should have come. It was
great!
You shouldn't have eaten so much!
17
Ought to
Auxiliary verbs
1. do, be y have
Todos ellos son diferentes del do, be y have por varias razones.
Primero, tienen rasgos gramaticales especiales (no tienen infinitivo,
bien un significado: / can significa yo puedo. Do, be, y have no
penan la misma funcion que be y have. Sin embargo, desde el punto
de vista gramatical, will y would pertenecen a los defectivos (modal
auxiliaries>>)
negaciones sin do.
lleva to.
