Requirement:

Chapter 2: HC 6000 PC Tool Installation:
Please install the HC 6000_PCTool software into your PC before processing this software. First put
the HC 6000 PC Tool CD into the CD ROM drive, and then click start, Run to choose the catalog of

Copy the installation file into your computer to process the installation program.

Click onOKkey on this set up picture.

Click on the installation key on this picture to continue the installation.
If you would like to change the preset directory of installation, please click onChange Directory

Chapter 3: Performance HC 6000 PC Tool

Before entering the main functions picture of HC 6000_PCTool software, the user needs to set up
the communication parameter, name and password to allow the user undo the setting on the main
function picture. Click onOkkey to enter the main functions picture.

2 Setting name and password
Please enter the original setting name and password and then click onOKkey.
If the user forgot the original setting of name and password or the first time to make the setting,

Password 8 characters.

3 Connecting to HC 6000 Meters
Click on the neededGroup key to scan the corresponding group of HC 6000 meter address. The
scanned HC 6000 meter will show the corresponding address and enable its key.
Click on theStop Scan Meterkey to discontinue the scanning.

After finishing the scanning, theAddress will display the corresponding meter Address up to 16
meters and control its key. This picture is for testing and the actual testing meter quantity may not be one
only.

When the scanned HC 6000 Meters Address is exceeded the #128 or the already known HC 6000
Meter Address needs to be quick on line, the user can directly enter the HC 6000 Meter address number

When user needs to on line/check on the data/set the parameter of one meter, please click on the
Meter Address key or directly enter the Meter Address. For checking on another meters data/set the
parameter, please click on another Meter Address key or directly enter the Meter Address.
As the meter gets on line normally, the title of the picture will display HC 6000 PC Tool. At this time,
the user can select the neededProgramfunction key.

Chapter 4: Displaying Meters information
1 Basic power capacity
Click onBasicfunction keyTo display the measurement value of basic power capacity.
Voltage
The voltage value which are line voltage, phase voltage, and average voltage.
Current
The current value which are 3 phase current, average current, and Neutral current.
Power
The power capacity value which are Active power , reactive power, apparent power, and
power factor.
Freq/Phase
The frequency value and phase rotation.
All
All the basic measurement value.

2 Energy capacity
Click onEnergyfunction keyTo display the measurement value of energy capacity which are Real

3 Maximun / Minimum value of power capacity
Phase A
The max. value, time and date of Phase A.
Phase B
The max. value, time and date of phase B.
Phase C
The max. value, time and date of phase C.
Ave/Sum
The max. average/sum value, time and date.

Click on the System CT/PT Ratiofunction key: To set up the system parameters.

3 Keyboard and Reset
Choose the rolling table of Lock or Unlock, and then click onSettingkey to process.

Chapter 6: Recording Data
Click on theData Log Function key: To capture the date, time and energy value of data (Ua, Uca,
Ia, Ub, Uab, Ib, Uc, Ubc, Ic, Hz, Watt, PF, Var, VA, WH_Forward, WH_Reversed, VarH_Plus,
VarH_Minus).

To set theCapture Timeto start capturing data. The times unit is 1 minute ( Range: from 1 minute
to 60 minutes).

To select theDisplay Daterange on the calendar table, and the capturing raw data will be displayed

Click on theDeleteFunction key: To delete the raw data selected fromDisplay Date.

Enter the name and password, and then click onOKkey to confirm or reset again.

Click onDelete Allfunction key: To delete all of the data.

Click on theData Log function key: To record the data.
Graph: This is a data trend graph. Please select the demand of date range (from start to stop),
and click on the selected energy value button to display data on the graph.

To check on the data of trend point, the trend graph provides two cursor positions (Cursor_value1 &
Cursor_value 2).
At first, please select one of two Cursor_values and then drag the mouse on the trend graph and
click its left button, the cursor will be moved to mouses position. The trend point data which the cursor
