‘The patient was a 55 yo self employed draughtsman with a 3 week history of central low
back pain which was worsened by bending and coughing. It radiated down the R leg. There
was a 4 day history of R foot numbness.
‘Candhates scored from 12-28/30. Common mistakes were not tulty asking the pas questions
and not asking enough question to exclude DDx - ie malignant mets, osteomyalitis ota. Time
