Message from RTS Chair
The RTS is very grateful for all the volunteers who
make these awards possible. I would particularly like to
acknowledge the contribution Henry Eagles has made in
chairing the judging panel over many years. This will be his
last year in that important role and there are many students
who owe him a debt of gratitude for his many years of
service.

For the last three years he has been ably supported by

Rachael Flynn, Consultant on the Creative & Academic
Development Team at the University of West of Scotland.
Like many academics working across Scotland, Rachael
juggles very many demands upon her time and attention,
and we are grateful for her continued ability to include the
annual student awards in her considerable workload.

I would also like to recognise the important input of

organisers, broadcasters, staff and students at City of
Glasgow College, sponsors Mediaspec and AVID.

The awards would be very dull indeed without the talent,

imagination and energy of Scotlands TV students. Every
year I am thrilled and impressed by the quality of their
productions.

James Wilson
