ROMAC/LCD-M Series (M1 flat mount, M2 clip mount)

For all water filtration systems including RO
Specifications:

The LCD-M series is a digital water-system monitor suitable for all small to
middle size water filtration systems; including RO systems as well as
traditional water filter systems. The LCD-M records water flow rate and remind
users when to replace filters by how many gallons of output instead of how
many months.

LCD-M features:
Water flow recorder for displaying actual flow in gallons
Allows 4 settings to record filter life span
Filter replacement reminder
Water quality detection probe ensuring safe drinking water all the time
Manage pressure inside RO film for self-cleaning action
Easily adapted to fit different water filtration systems
Small size for convenient fit: 9cm x 6cm x 4.5cm
Backlit LCD panel for clarity; real-time digital recording and display for water flow.

1. Water flow counter and recorder functions:

The M series not only displays the actual count of water flow in gallon, but
also allows adjustable settings for 4 different filter elements in the system.
Whether its first stage filter or taste and odor reduction filter, up to 4 different
life-span filters can be programmed into the M series. The 4 separate settings
count down for each gallon of output water until the countdown reaches 50
then flashes to warn filter replacement. The warning flash will continue until
the countdown reaches 0, then the wrench symbol flashes. At this time the
monitor turns off the pump via the high pressure Switch. This is a sure
reminder for timely filter replacement, without traditional record keeping.

The M series provides 3 sizes of rotary vane flow meter to read water flow
rate for your water system needs. The small vane is for household systems
(50 100 gallons); the medium vane is for office use (100 200 gallons); the
big vane is for industrial (300 1500 gallons).
ROMAC/LCD-M Display:

1
The flow sensor signal is already set at our factory to match the specific size of flow sensor. This F option allows
the computer to match different flow sensors to the IC circuitry. If customers want to exchange different flow sensors
(ours or others) please set the correct signal. Our signals: small flow sensor: 4500; medium sensor: 3000; large
sensor: 1700. The unit is in rpm/gal.

2. Water quality detection:

The monitor comes with a probe for water quality detection to ensure safe
drinking water all the time. The probe is installed after the last stage filter as
to detect drinkable water for purity. If the probe detects water quality to be
greater than TDS 50 PPM, the monitor flashes the bell and wrench for
warning.

3. Self-Cleaning function:

A solenoid switch (not included) installed on the waste end of the RO

system is in parallel with the pressure reducer hose. The normally closed
switch will open to allow bypass of the pressure reducer thus allowing a flush
action to clean out the RO film. The monitor automatically cycles the
self-cleaning once every 6 hours for 20 seconds.
Setting the LCD-M:

To set the filter reminder press the

MENU button to scroll from 0-F.

Note:
0 is the total flow so cannot be set
F is set at the factory

Setting the first filter:

1. Press MENU once to get from 0 to 1
2. Press SET down for 10 seconds
3. First two zeros will flash (0000)
Note: only the thousand and hundred place can be set
4. Press UP to set filter life span
5. Press SET to record
6. To set second filter reminder press MENU to scroll down
7. Repeat from step 2.
