Lesson/Discussion:

A Peaceful World Begins With Me

By: Emil M. Flores

I look at others
I see ugly scars
I look at my brothers
I look them behind bars
Pointing my finger
At the wrong I see
But when I point
I never look... at me.
The eye turns inside
The direction changes the course
The other way goes the tide,
All the wrong Im the source.
Finally all the wrong
All the wrong I see
I see all the scars
The scars are... on me.
Me, the one, the best
Now my sin I see
I forget others, the rest
But I do not forgive... Me.
The eye turns upward
My lord I can see
My Savior, my eternal guard
Who sees, forgives and loves... Me.

Grammar Points:

Degree of Adjectives and their Use

There are three degrees of Adjectives:

Positive Adjective- the positive form is used to describe nouns, (people, places or
things) or to describe verbs (actions). Some adjectives form the positive with entirely
different words.
Comparative Adjective- are used to compare differences between the two objects
they modify (larger, smaller, faster, higher). They are used in sentences where two
nouns are compared.
Superlative Adjective- a superlative adjective compares three or more nouns. This
takes the comparison of nouns to the highest degree. The rules for making the
superlative adjectives are almost identical to the rules for making comparative
adjectives.
