 Expectation
When I asked you to tell me about your HS guidance it caused your
sensors to go up and look for things that were happening around
you where HS was leading you.
When you looked for those things you found them.
Was this activity there all along?
Yes & No
Before you were looking you were living by default. Meaning you
just let circumstances and situations come into your life without any
thought or purpose behind them.
The reality is - you applied what you learned - Holy Spirit is always
guiding - it is our applying & believing which makes it real
 If Good came - great
If Bad came - not so good
But when observe, expect, hope, anticipate, look for, ask for, Holy
Spirit to guide you He says Finally, I have your attention Look at
what I can do for you, in you, through you, with you, as you.
Its called living life on purpose
What is your purpose?
What is your passion?
 Philippians 2:13for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to
work for His good pleasure.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ
Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we
would walk in them.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Greek: all things, I am strong, in Christ empowering me
I can do anything I want - so do what you want, your passion, what you
love, the talents, the desire of your heart
Why am I working at Amphenol, have 3 kids, live in Tracy and attend
Southwinds church and lead a bible study?
Because that is what I love to do.
God says, this is where I have planted you, now, be fruitful and multiply.
Enjoy my presence with you, I will walk with you, talk with you and live
in and through you.
 We must be deliberate in life
Are you asleep or awake in life?
What is your expectation as you go through the day?
Wake up Morning routine Work
Commute Evening routine Home
Daily Activities Bed Time
Are you deliberate about looking for - expecting Holy Spirit in each of these
activities?
As you enter each of these segments of your life, enter it with the intention
that you will have and see all that you want. Have a positive expectation for
good knowing that Holy Spirit is right there, inside you directing your activity.
1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything
give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
 You have heard the term - Live in the NOW
NOW means you are present with Holy Spirt with a confident expectation
that He is there, empowering you to do all things
NOW means you are not fearful about the future, the past is behind you
and today, right now, Holy Spirit is with you and giving you everything you
need for your success. He is for you, not against you Romans 8:31
NOW means you are living in the moment because that is all you really
have, is right NOW.
What do I have right now?
Holy Spirit Creator of all things in me
Promises from the Bible are mine
Jesus as God Loved me, gave His life for me
 God has given me everything to live in the NOW
100% Forgiveness
I Dont have to worry or fear that He has left me becuase of Sin
100% Fellowship
I Dont have to worry that I can do anything to seperate me from Him
100% Freedom
I Dont have to worry about should I or shouldnt I, Holy Spirit is here
100% Faithfulness
I Dont have faith in Him, He has faith in me, so I have faith in Him
100% Fullness
I Do have the same Holy Spirit as Jesus did & all the greats of the bible


 You have as much laughter as you have faith

This life, the Gospel is nothing less than laughter and joy
Celebrate life today, the life God created you to have, and look for those
things to be joyful for
John 15:11 These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be
in you, and that your joy may be made full.
John 16:24 24Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask
and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.
 I have a peace which surpases all understanding
I have less desire to sin, to do things contrary to who you really
are, your true identity
You are God's Son, You are His Bride
I have the fruit of the Spirit coming out of you
Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness,
Faithfulness, Self-Control
Circumstances and Situations will always align in your favor
He is for you, not against you
Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are
children of God,

Keeping our eyes fixed on HIM

John 519Therefore Jesus answered and
was saying to them, Truly, truly, I say to
you, the Son can do nothing of Himself,
unless it is something He sees the Father
doing; for whatever the Father does,
these things the Son also does in like
manner. 20For the Father loves the Son,
and shows Him all things that He Himself
is doing; and the Father will show Him
greater works than these, so that you will
marvel.
 Keeping our eyes fixed on HIM
Matthew 14 28Peter said to Him, Lord, if it is
You, command me to come to You on the
water.29And He said, Come! And Peter
got out of the boat, and walked on the water
and came toward Jesus. 30But seeing the
wind, he became frightened, and beginning
to sink, he cried out, Lord, save me!
31Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand
and took hold of him, and said to him, You
of little faith, why did you doubt? 32When
they got into the boat, the wind stopped.
33And those who were in the boat worshiped
Him, saying, You are certainly Gods Son!
 When you expect Him to
It was not God's intention to control us or manipulate us it was his
intention to be in relation with us
Through holy spirit he wants to live - in us - through us - by us -
for us - with us - as us
So how do we know what voice to listen to? Which one is ours and
which one is Holy Spirit?
 It first starts with asking and knowing what it is you want. You must
be specific. You must expect it to come after you ask for it.
Expecting is believing. You are intending to see what you want to
see. You need to know that God is allowing has unlimited resources
and unlimited possibilities to bring that request to you.
 Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for (to
expect, to hope), the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were
framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not
made of things which do appear.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is
honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,
whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything
worthy of praise, dwell on these things.
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace, those whose mind is
steadfast on you: because he trusts in you
 Doug, thats crazy, you are telling me that I should focus on Christ and His
Holy Spirit throughout the day and be steadfast on Him.
I have a business to run
I have a family to raise
I have bills to pay
I have this illness
What about, what about
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable,
whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good
repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on
these things.
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace, those whose mind is steadfast
on you: because he trusts in you
 Jesus life as the example
Was He busy?
Did He get a lot done?
Was He stressed?
Luke 10:38-42 38 Now as they were traveling along, He entered a
village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. 39
She had a sister called Mary, who was seated at the Lords feet,
listening to His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with [a]all her
preparations; and she came up to Him and said, Lord, do You not care
that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to
help me. 41 But the Lord answered and said to her, Martha, Martha,
you are worried and bothered about so many things; 42 but only one
thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not
be taken away from her.
 Your guidance system is your expectation to receive guidance
Your guidance system is Gods word. Holy Spirit will not direct you
into any situation that would go contrary to His word
Your guidance system is the LOVE question. What would Love do in
this situation. What decision is made that reflects Gods love to me or
to others.
Your guidance system is your emotions. They let you know, if what
you are thinking, is right for you. Sometimes there are gray areas in
your life and your emotions / gut will tell you the best course of action.
If you sense, feel and are tuned in to your emotions, that is your
guidance system.
 Negative emotions mean that your thoughts, ideas and your desires
are not in line with Holy Spirit's guidance or more specifically what is
not best for you.
Your positive emotions mean that your thoughts, ideas and your
desires are in line with Holy Spirit's guidance, or more specifically
what is best for you.
 Regardless of any decision you make, good, bad, indifferent, He is
always with you and will never leave you nor forsake you.
Remember, He is right there doing whatever you are doing. He is
doing it with you, for you, as you.
Think about ALL the events in any given day. Everything. Boring,
exciting, work, reading, cleaning, watching TV.He is there with
you, always. Listen for Him, listen to Him

He will lead you into all truth
