Description of how to implement in the class:
The students will choose one or two of their favorite books from our Margaret Hillert or Eric
Carle collection in our classroom library and identify the front cover, title page and back cover by
taking a photo of it and labeling it using a Glogster template created by the teacher. The photos will
be taken in our classroom and saved for each student in subfolders. Students will be assigned to
groups of 2 to 4 students.
The students will create their very own Glogster for others to view. This learning activity will
help them to increase their vocabulary and allow them to identify unknown/known words in a text as
well. Students will be able to identify an author and illustrator of their favorite book. The Glogster
template will allow students to label the parts of their favorite book or identify their favorite author
and book. They can choose one of two versions of a template to highlight the author and/or books
chosen.

Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): Loti 4 because this LoTi best describes my approach
in this lesson is Loti 4 because the students will take the concept outside the classroom

Description of the sample BBPT file provided *: The template will allow students to display their
favorite author along with illustrator. The template will include placeholders for each part of the
book (title page, front cover, and back cover) or they can choose the template that highlights their
favorite author and favorite book along with a video of their choice sharing the front cover, title page,
and back cover of a book.
Other comments about your proposed BBPT Activity: Students will also have the opportunity to
broaden their vocabulary by highlighting new words learned in a book.
