5 Functions

5.1 Adjustment of instrument panel lighting :

The adjustment of the instrument panel lighting should be done with dipped beams
switched on.

5.2 Impact of the function in the BSI

5.2.1 Citron C3, C3 Pluriel and C2

There are problems of compatibility between the BSI and the instrument panel.
o On early versions (editions) of the BSI software up to versions 33.x inclusive,
the instrument panel should have a software version 0806.
o On versions (editions) of the BSI software 35.x and 37.x, the instrument panel
should have a software version 0807.
o On versions (editions) of the BSI software 39.x and later, a configuration
parameter is used to adapt the BSI to instrument panels in software version
0806 as well as to instrument panels in software version 0807.
This parameter ( instrument panel software version ) can be accessed via
the menu MANUAL PROGRAMMING - CONFIGURATION after the start of
communication with the BSI using a diagnostic tool.

8 [G06][S02] Problems with instrument panel on Xsara Picasso

( RPO 9492 - 9677)

All the instrument panels have the potential to be faulty, display malfunctions may be
present.
A quality campaign (XRL) has been mounted to resolve this problem. This campaign
entails fitting a separate control unit on the instrument panel.
Refer to this campaign to familiarise yourself with the procedure.
In this case, the BSI is not the cause.
Replacement not authorised.
