    MAHNOBHCITaggingDatabase
    (http://mahnob-db.eu/hci-tagging)

    Bysigningthisdocumenttheuser,heorshewhowillmakeuseofthedatabaseorthedatabaseinterface,
    agreestothefollowingterms.

    Withdatabase,wedenoteboththeactualdataaswellastheinterfacetothedatabase.

    1. Commercialuse
    Theusermaynotusethedatabaseforanynonacademicpurpose.Nonacademicpurposesinclude,butare
    notlimitedto:
    provingtheefficiencyofcommercialsystems
    trainingortestingofcommercialsystems
    usingscreenshotsofsubjectsfromthedatasetinadvertisements
    sellingdatafromthedataset
    creatingmilitaryapplications
    developinggovernmentalsystemsusedinpublicspaces

    2. Responsibility
    Thisdocumentmustbesignedbyapersonwithapermanentpositionatanacademicinstitute(thesignee).
    Uptofiveotherresearchersaffiliatedwiththesameinstituteforwhomthesigneeisresponsiblemaybe
    namedattheendofthisdocumentwhichwillallowthemtoworkwiththisdataset.

    3. Distribution
    Theusermaynotdistributethedatabaseorportionsthereofinanyway,withtheexceptionofusingsmall
    portionsofdatafortheexclusivepurposeofclarifyingacademicpublicationsorpresentations. Onlydata
    fromsubjectswhogaveconsenttohavetheirdatausedinpublicationsandpresentationsmaybeused
    forthispurpose.Notethatpublicationswillhavetocomplywiththetermsstatedinarticle5.

    4. Access
    TheusermayonlyusethedatabaseafterthisEndUserLicenseAgreement(EULA)hasbeensignedand
    returnedtotheiBUGGroupatImperialCollegeLondon.ThesignedEULAshouldbereturnedindigital
    formatbyuploadingittothewebsitewhenrequestinganaccountat:

    Onlyiftheuserisnotcapableofrequestinganaccountinthismanner,accountsmayberequestedby
    sendingthesignedEULAviatraditionalmailto:

    Theusermayonlyusedataofsubjectsinpublicationsifthatparticularsubjecthasexplicitlygranted
    permissionforthis.Thisisspecifiedwitheverydatabaseelement.

    AlldocumentsandpapersthatreportonresearchthatuseanyoftheMAHNOBHCITaggingDatabasewill
    acknowledgethisasfollows:

    Thedatabasecomeswithoutanywarranty.TheiBUGGroupatImperialCollegeLondoncannotbeheld
    accountableforanydamage(physical,financialorotherwise)causedbytheuseofthedatabase.TheiBUG
    GroupatImperialCollegeLondonwilltrytopreventanydamagebykeepingthedatabasevirusfree.

    8. Misuse
    Ifatanypoint,theadministratorsofMAHNOBHCITaggingdatabaseand/or iBUGGroupatImperial
    College haveareasonabledoubtthattheuserdoesnotactinaccordancetothisEULA,he/shewillbe
    notifiedofthisandwillimmediatelybedeclinedtheaccesstothedatabase.
