CALIDADES DE ACEROS

Normativa espaola
Las designaciones de los aceros con que se fabrican los perfiles estructurales se realizan de acuer-
do con lo indicado en la Norma UNE-EN 10025.
Los tipos de acero se establecen en funcin de sus caractersticas mecnicas y se identifican
mediante un nmero que indica el valor mnimo garantizado del lmite elstico, expresado en
N/mm2. El grado est determinado por el valor de la energa absorvida en el ensayo de flexin por
choque y por soldabilidad. De acuerdo con esta designacin, los tipos y grados de acero certifica-
dos son los siguientes:

Correspondencia con las antiguas designaciones

En la siguiente tabla se recogen las designaciones aplicables a los perfiles certificados y su corres-
pondencia con normas anteriores, ya fuera de uso. En todo caso, debe tenerse en cuenta que las
nicas designaciones en vigor son las correspondientes a la Norma UNE-EN 10025, que son las
que figuran en la ltima columna de la tabla.
