Short Description of the Company Atlantic Language is a high quality English language
training company in Ireland with schools in both the west,
Galway, and the east, Dublin. A market leader in
language education in Ireland, Atlantic has received
several awards including the Ulster Bank Achievers Award
for International Business in Connacht and the prestigious
Language Travel Magazine Award for the Best English

PLACEMENT INFORMATION

Description of activities - Managing the Academic Reception, dealing with


student and staff enquiries with professionalism and
courtesy

- Liaising with and supporting the Director of Studies


and ADOS

- Support with placement testing of new students

- Supporting communications between the Academic


Office and teaching staff

- Organisation and completion of academic


administrative tasks

- Liaising with Student Services and Sales departments

- Supporting with Junior student communications and


logistics

- Contribute to supplementary classes and learner


activities

- Update and monitor teaching materials

- Provide linguistic and translation support where


possible

- Adhere to all statutory regulations, and Company


policies and procedures
Duration 3 months minimum

Working hours / Weekly hours 36 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS

Oral and written language skills English (min. B2, no certificate needed)

Computer skills Microsoft Office

- General understanding of ELT syllabi and testing
- Ability to deal with academic enquiries of all kinds
and understand and empathise with student needs
- High organisational and clerical competence
