Commitment to Students and Student Learning developing as expected

Taylor has been a part of a few phone calls home to parents regarding student successes and challenges.
We have discussed students with IEP's and how that will relate to the EQAO testing in January.

Knowledge developing as expected

Taylor has a good sense of the content and curriculum. She could work towards a deeper understanding of
long term planning and how the subject matter of a full course fits together.

Teaching Practice developing as expected

Taylor can continue to work on classroom management (as we call can). She could also work towards
engaging the entire class. Taylor seems comfortable and confident in front of a class. Taylor has a high
degree of skill with the SMART board and associated technologies.

Professionalism developing as expected

Taylor has volunteered with the junior girls volleyball program and is meeting new students outside of the
classroom. Taylor is enthusiastic about her role and it shows when she interacts with students and peers.

Leadership and Community developing as expected

Taylor took part in our departmental PLC group last PA day. Taylor will be here for our next PLC date, so she
can see the progress made. Taylor is involved with volleyball team as previously mentioned.

Ongoing Professional Learning developing as expected

Taylor has been very receptive to suggestions and constructive criticism from both of her associate teachers.
Taylor has made improvements and adjustments accordingly to her lessons after reflection with her

COMMENTS
Teacher Candidate's Growth Plan

Taylor's growth plan sounded very much inline with our discussions and feedback. All of the topics she
covered for her personal growth plan are great goals to strive for during the second half of her teaching
placement.

The teacher candidate is developing as expected.
