Luke 9:23-26 Take up your cross and
FOLLOW JESUS
Go and make disciples, baptizing them in
the name of the FSHS, teach them to obey
everything. Then I will be with you ALWAYS
even to the very end of the age.
If anyone comes to me and does not hate
his won father, mother,wife and children
and yes even himself, HE CANNOT BE MY
DISCIPLE.
Whoever does not bear his own cross and
come after me cannot be my disciple

1. One desiring to build a tower, first
sits and thinks/ counts the cost,
thinking whether he has enough to
complete it. Otherwise, when he
starts the foundation and is not able
to finish it, all who see him will mock
him saying:
This man began to build and was not able
to finish.
2. A king going out to a war, sits down
first and deliberate whether he is
able with 10,000 soldiers to defeat
the enemy of 20,000 soldiers.
In Antioch, the disciples were first called
Christians
And Jesus said to them, Follow me and I
will make you become fishers of men, and
IMMEDIATELY THEY LEFT THEIR NETS AND
FOLLOWED HIM.
Further, He saw James and John, when
called they left their father Zebedee in the
boatwith the hired servants and followed
Jesus
Jesus: If anyone would come after me, let
him deny himself and take up his cross
daily and follow me.
