ABIS PATH UNAVAIL There are not enough Abis paths defined in the TG.
BTS EXTERNAL A fault is external to the BTS equipment.
BTS INTERNAL A fault exists in a piece of equipment which is internal to the BTS.
CON QUEUE CONGESTION At least one of the LAPD Concentrator concentration outlet
queues has reached an unacceptable filling level.
FORLOPP RELEASE Raised at the start of a TG Forlopp Release and automatically
ceased on completion of the TG Forlopp Recovery.
LAPD SIGNALLING OVERLOAD Either 16 kbps or 32 kbps Link Access Protocol for the D-Channel
(LAPD) multiplexed communication link is overloaded.
LMT INTERVENTION A Local Maintenance Terminal (LMT) Intervention fault is
received due to local maintenance activities in the BTS.
LOCAL MODE The MO is in Local Mode, or the MO has changed from Local
Mode to Remote Mode while an OML fault exists.
LOOP TEST FAILED An automatic loop test of the traffic carrying capabilities has
failed.
MAINS FAILURE A fault exists in a piece of BTS equipment which indicates a
failure of power source and which may affect the operation of the
BTS currently or in the future. The power source can be either
internal or external to the BTS.
OML FAULT A fault exists in the communications link between the BSC and
the BTS. This alarm includes faults in the transmission equipment
and equipment in the BSC.
OPERATOR CONDITION An abnormal condition has been detected in the BTS site which
does not affect the operational function of the BTS.
PERMANENT FAULT An MO is classified as being permanently faulty when faults in
the MO have occurred and been cleared a certain number of times
within a defined period of time. That is, the MO is "unstable".
Manual intervention is required to bring such an MO back into
operation.
TS SYNC FAULT Synchronization has been lost on the uplink or downlink
Transcoder and Rate Adaptation Unit (TRAU) channels.
TGC FAULT No active Transceiver Group Control (TGC) application exists in
the TG. This is only applicable to the G01 model. The fault can
occur, for example, when communication with an entire BTS is
lost, or when all TRXCs in a BTS are
